Thank you for your teaching, I've been looking for a tutorial on how to attach the leather that has been removed, it's very simple, thank you I'm from Philippines, I hope you notice ❤
I just removed the panel and guess what, two of the plastic clip holder broke off... This is why i always hate removing interior panels because its always hoping that one or more of those stupid clip things doesnt break..
Hello, how did you remove gear knob from the plastic right beneath it (the one that hold the leather to the knob)? its too fast in the vid and I can`t seem to take it off?
Hi, that was a bit of a challenge. You have to rotate the plastic gromet until you align it with a plastic tab. Afterwards you have to unclip the tabs. This is a hard plastic so you have to force it a little bit.
@@charlienolds oh cool, I managed to install the gaiter to the frame without doing anything but connecting it together. It’s a bit fiddly and annoying but once you manage to position it and connect it all together it’s secure and won’t move
Hi, is it possible for you to provide me the width and height of the cutout pls. I wanna purchase a piece leather sheet for making this cover but I don't know how big a piece is needed.
Hi, is there a way to remove the gear knob and buy a new one because it appears to be attached to the boot or is there a way to remove the knob from the boot? Thanks
The gear knob screws onto the rod. The boot is fixer to the knob by some clips. Really hard ones to remove. If you buy a new identical knob then no need to buy also the boot.
Unfortunately I did not film how I installed the armrest. But maybe I can make a video explaining how I did it. Do you think this would be interesting?
I used TH-cam for 8 years now and this is my first comment, finally I watched something deserve the comment for thanks a lot

I tried it but without removing the plastic... i just angle the leader frame sideway and it fits in the hole. Saves me lot of time.
i dont know how you managed to do that but it sounds like straight up magic

Helped me change my car's gear knob
Thank you for this video, helped me a lot :)
Helpful, thank you.
Do you need to staple the leather gaiter onto the plastic frame and is there an alternative way to secure it to the frame?
I used a hot glue gun and put a couple of stitches through the holes with some thread

@@benassy69 Yes, I cant seem to find a video specifically for my car, and looking at the centre console in your car it is the same. Thank you
Hi Matty. I've just posted a video regarding the armrest.
Bonjour as tu agrafé avec agrafeuse murale ?
Can you just take the knob off with out the leather
No. It comes out together with le leather. Afterwards you can unclips the fasteners to remove the knob. The fasteners are on the inside.
