I absolutely love that old shows are finding a home on youtube for full length TV episodes. It reminds me of when Bob Ross started being streamed on twitch. This show works so well as a youtube video.
I knew a blind guy who drove a car with a friend instructing him. Another time, a cop caught him laying under a car at night while he was repairing it. The cop was wondering what he was doing under the car without a flashlight until he notified the cop he was blind and didn't need one.
I don't know what is more nostalgic, watching these old eps or seeing that Saturn Ion. I bought one in 2003 that was my first new car. Loved that thing.
We love you Mythbusters! Thanks you to all of the team (not just the stars of the show) that brought us so much entertainment and scientific knowledge over all the years. Love you all!
Tori low-key being a great golfer and able to best Grant's golfing robot was surprising to me when I first watched this 20 years ago, or however long it was.
I think they should have asked a WRC pair to do the blind driving. They drive by really trusting the other and have a way more refined system than "go left" and "go right"
@@Callidus7SSM world rally championship, the drivers have a co-driver that know the course beforehand and has notes to read off to the driver, they have more refined definitions for corners, like numbers assigned to the sharpness of a corner how long until the corner and how long the corner is, whether to cut the corner or not, track conditions, (puddles, rocks, uneven bumps, jumps etc.) extremely fast-paced time trial racing sometimes on closed public roads or off-road courses
@@crazyorange49-OG I was just guessing. Literally the *only* thing I knew about what OP was talking about is that they’re a driver, and a navigator who use specialized terms like the ones you described. And I only know that from watching clip shows like Top 20 Most Shocking. I am not a sports person. At all. I was just trying to give JayWalkerOnline some additional context to the best of my knowledge, since I’ve seen (in my personal TH-cam experience) that the OP rarely answers any questions posed in response to their comment. And I don’t blame them, there are a lot of abusive people on TH-cam.
I wish the Hollywood Heists episode would be uploaded - for some reason it, and a few other episodes in season 4, are missing on MAX, which SUCKS - that one was a great episode.
@@JonatasAdoM From what I am seeing thus far,it seems like they have episodes from every season, but I've only noticed thus far season 4's gaps so I really can't say how complete or incomplete it is w/.o looking more into it.
The "90% air" of a tree is referring to volume not coverage of the tree's outline silhouette. It does not mean you have a 90% chance of missing the tree. They knew this going in but pandered to the viewers that do not understand basic terms and geometry.
I just had to do some research on the article about the blind driver and the only thing i found in Finnish media was a short mention that a blind drunk driver receiving instructions from a drunk passenger was stopped by the police in Estonia. And the name in the article is also estonian so i don't think that happened here in Finland.

shut up man
Yeah that 100% would look like someone stealing the catalytic converter
Grant: No, I'm not retiring yet.
That comment hurts to hear.
oh hes retired now since he passed away

Mythbusters and junkyard wars was the pinicale of my middle/highschool days
Oh I never had the opportunity to watch Junkyard wars.
@JonatasAdoM it wasnt on for that long but i enjoyed it
Jerry was such a champ!
Tori: **Hits Ten Golf Balls In A Row**
Kerri & Grant: **Can't Hit The Broadside Of A Barn**

i laughed when you said 20
years ago but then realized
this aired in 2005
i was 3 years and 3 days old when season 4 aired

Jerry, despite being blind, drives better than my sister lol
You nailed that, every single one of them. Amazing delivery
Adam on a segway is always hilarious to me. Makes me think of Gob from Arrested Development.
What? You can't drive with a blindfold on. That's illegal!

These earlier-intros were awesome :D I barely remember them!

Considering what we know about Tiger now, something tells me they could’ve gotten him on the show, if Kari had asked.
What a great episode! So much fun
I know it's possible to teach a blind person to drive a car. My mom taught a blind friend of hers to drive a stick shift in an empty parking lot.
The whisky Jamie drinks is "Maker's Mark" if anyone is curious
Damn but I love these shows! Thank you 🙏
Its 90 percent air volume not in dirction of travel

I’ve never seen Scent of a Woman but why is Al Pacinos character driving if he’s blind?

Grant would have fared better by building a golf club-swinging robot, I reckon.
I should have just kept watching the episode. XD robot montage engage!
