- My finest Zippo lighter rebuild where I turn a regular 16$ Zippo into a high end 24 carat gold lighter and decorate it with a rare and very beautiful emerald. I also make some beautiful deep fiber laser engraving on the lighter.

I would love to imagine a diamond zippo. But soon there should be a chemical that would turn metal into something that is similar to diamond (in chemical compound of course)
You could easily make a living selling blinged out customized Zippo’s. LOVE the addition of the laser. It puts you miles ahead of your competition. You could use it to put an almost microscopic date and timestamp on your work as a form of copyright protection.

I love how the tools are all suddenly engraved after the laser engraving machine is shown. If I got a laser engraver I'd start engraving anything I could too lol
When I first saw the emerald come up in the video, I thought, " that's might be a bit overkill. To much adornment on it." But it came out perfect. This is one beautiful piece.

Ahhhhh DUDE!!!! I feel you pain!!! I learned along time ago when ya come across Awesome channel, pun intended, like this one no matter how Awesome, ditto here too, it is ya need to NOT show the ollady, or in my case the Warden aka WIFE, cause like you I showed the Warden an she then asked how long I'd been watching. I proudly said 4 months. Welp that put in her head that OlSquirrel now knows how to do carpentry work. Me an wood DO NOT GET ALONG AT ALL. Ya give me a block of wood and a plastic hammer ya gonna need to have an ambulance close by cause I'm gonna be makin that block into splinters. But now if ya give me a wore out motor I can turn the motor into a BEAST that demands attention!!! So unless ya got them skills like the vids ya watchin best just keep it to yourself. But also I'm not sayin by no mean that ya cant learn from them. Oh heck no. Learn all ya can and try to do what they do, baby steps of course, and then put your twist on the pieces ya workin on to make it to make it yours!!!

Love the zippo man! In fact I recently found an old box of tools with some tools dated as far back as 1935. In there I found a Ronson has lighter as well as some excellent long scissors and compasses. I’m gonna clean them up and see how they look!

While I was in the military years ago. I was fascinated on how many zippo aficionados there were over seas. I was educated by Greeks, Italians, Germans, Austrians and many other people of different backgrounds on the different markings and such on zippo lighters. I don’t smoke... but I always have a zippo on my person if I can. This was a great video for those who enjoy these collectibles. Keep up the great craftsmanship!
