- In this video i show you how to change the ignition coil pack on a Honda engine with the coil pack inside the distributor.
The engine i am working on is a F18B2 in a Honda Accord, 1.8 sohc vtec engine.
These internal ignition coils were on the B,D,F and H series engines and are all very similar to change.

Yeh that's what went on mine on the ej9 pcm if I'm right mine went kaput 😅 replaced that and also the egr valve needed cleaning top job . Good effort buddy 👍🤗😊
ignition control module tends to overheat and go out causing the car to stall. I've never known them to not allow the car to rev.
Literally picked one of these up yesterday
Nice how to, shame it wasn't that but cheap so worth a shot
When you replaced the igniton control module, did that help resolve the problem for revving?
I know you probably dont have the car anymore, but curious what else could cause this problem. I have the same exact issue right now
Lovely little new daily that! Will you be doing a walk around of it at all? Has the Saab gone now then? 🤔
Filmed this a few months ago and forgot to put it live 😂
Yeah Saab is long gone, it was pretty much 10 months of trouble free motoring but the starter motor packed up on it and it needed a few other consumable bits replacing so i just scrapped it as the gearbox still needed replacing and it just wasn't worth spending the money on so i got this very very cheap, drove it for a few weeks but it's a bit of a turd so it's pretty much sat outside my garage and i never drive it so going to do a few fun videos with it before i get rid of it.
I just daily the van that i have now which you might have seen on Instagram, i'm going to do a few videos on that. I've filmed loads but i'm just struggling to find time to edit any of it at the moment.
@@LeadFootash23 Oh right, cheers for the update. That sounds like good fun though what you have planned for this thing before you eventually get rid! 😂 As for the Saab that's understandable, obviously knew you were having issues with the Gearbox and once the start went it made sense to scrap it, too much to do for a car worth very little. A van now too, I do follow you Instagram but rarely go it to be honest! 😂 Will be interesting to see what you do with that too. Sounds like there's a lot to come but completely understand you don't have time to edit.
ha ha That 'one handed' filming life :D
I can't bring myself to be that guy working at the side of the road with go pro strapped to his head 😂
@@LeadFootash23 It just a matter of time mate :D
Hi ... i came to ask if a nissan micra does have a crankshaft sensor?
If it does have where can i found it?
It's called an ignition coil, is it not? 😮
It is
It needs a cap and rotor.
Thanks.
