I like how they made Billy sort of a anti-hero. That makes her eventually embracing the fact that her father was a killer and using it to kill Richie at the end even more satisfying.

I know they say it's a hallucination but that doesn't make SENSE to me. Like, how would she hallucinate him exactly as he died when she didn't SEE his body? Wasn't even born yet and in that time period I doubt any images would have been online given when he died vs when she found out he was her father.
That's not Billy. Billy was a jerk*ss d*ck who killed innocent people out of displaced mommy issues. He was also a hypocrite, blaming Maureen Prescott's affair with his father on destroying his family but having no problem cheating on his own girlfriend, which led to Sam's birth and the end of her family. This is just Sam's hallucination, her darker side taking the shape of the dead father she never met.

We are definitely going to see more of Billy Loomis (Sams serial killer father from the first scream) show up in the next film. If Sidney isn't returning, this means Samantha is going to be the main character which means she is going to stay a hero rather than a villain. Her and her sister will be the main characters. However, these visions of her father is beyond intriguing on how these next films are going to play out. She was rebellious towards the visions but at the last scene, last vision at the ambulance she gives a small smile after he nods to her which is scary because she might acknowledge finally she is like him, especially how she killed Ritchie so brutally and was enjoying it. So there's a chance she either turns evil and takes revenge on Sidney for killing her father, or she stays hero with her sister. If she stays hero, she is probably going to take a more psychopath role and kill more in the next film as a anti-hero. Her sister Tara is going to play a role as well, so this is gonna be interesting, these could be the two main characters moving forward, or it could be a sister vs sister battle in the next film, or scream 7 if they make a 7th part. It's been reported Sidney won't be returning (doubt it) but if thats the case, look forward to Sam being the main character in the next movie. I'd assume Gale will return and be killed trying to protect Sam, or Sidney if Sidney is back.
It’s kinda sad when you think about it. Losing both your parents so you have the last person to look up to as a parent be a psychotic killer. And he’s only proud of you when you embrace his namesake

I think then when I hear about Kirby is alive and she's going back in next movie she will be 100% killed by next ghostface
At least there’s someone whose billy really cares about… his own blood /his daughter
It’s kinda sad when you think about it. Losing both your parents so you have the last person to look up to as a parent be a psychotic killer. And he’s only proud of you when you embrace his namesake
Might've already been brought up, but I'm rewatching the original Scream and Billy makes a reference to "Jodie Foster in The Silence of the Lambs when she keeps having flashbacks of her dead father." I like that they used that for this movie
Seeing skeet return as Billy was cool and I love how they kept the bloody shirt on him
I loved how we got to see the most hottest character in the the whole franchise. It made the first movie the best.
These scenes are really cool!!! Good to see Skeet as Billy Loomis again!
I really hope they do these type of scenes for Scream 6 too!
Skeet is a serverly underrated actor he def is different in this then the 1st
let me tell you I was not expecting the first hallucination, I fucking love it
As much as I watched scream, I just now realized that riche was referring to what happened to Billy when he died, all while Billy was helping his daughter by pointing out the knife😅 1:19
I’m so bummed Melissa Barrera got fired from Scream. Her character was by far the most interesting thing about the new movies.
Scream 6 should bring back both Billy and Mrs. Loomis too.
Isn’t Mrs. Loomis dead?
@@tianal.6992 so is Billy
@@tianal.6992 Yes but it would be cool if Mrs. Loomis was back like Billy was.
Stu is dead as well
@@scottslimmon7956 billy isn't back he's dead it's technically his ghost trying to help his daughter
Billy came back to help his daughter, to use that killer instinct.
You know since he’s dead it’s like he is truly a ghost and the face of ghost face
I love it when Billy helps his daughter hes so proud
1:41 “good job, Sam”
I like how this implies there a history of hereditary psychosis in the family
Awwwww look at those two bonding.
Skeet can still rock the 90's curtain bangs, it almost makes me want them back. Almost.
Who knew Billy was a decent dad? LOL
Idk how but he's giving me Chucky vibes (especially with that eyebrow raise) and I am in love all over again
Sam, killing Richie
Billy: "THAT'S MY GIRL!"
Me watching her drink straight from the fountain: huh huh, I do that
The coldest line in that scene when billy Loomis daughter said don't never F with a daughter of a serial killer 🔥 then proceeds to kill
What can I say but “well done, we’ll done”🙏😊 Billy aka Sket coming back like this was just epic. I mean I just loved it. He was a crazy twisted dude in 1996 but to see him come out and help his daughter but still having the old vibe of 1996 is just epic to me. I usually hate the remakes on these, but this was so perfect. 👍😊
Man, some of you really missed the whole point of Billy's presence in this movie.
It’s not up to you how we interpret it. The directors put him there for a reason some people would say hallucination and some would say ghost. That’s called ambiguity and you should respect it
he was left by his mother, so i think he try to do something right for his own daughter, he is a ghost live in her illusion, no way she can imagine his voice
I like the face billy gives same when he looked at the knife on the ground
Why I’m crying over 🥲🥲🥲🥲
The fact they turned my all time favorite ghostface killer into a literal hero is what made this movie so much better you are dearly missed billy
Anti-hero he’s only doing this to protect his daughter he’s still his psychotic self😭 just instead of encouraging her to be a killer he only encourages her to kill if they go after her first
@@soffilms_ less an anti hero and more so a devil on her shoulder.
@@soffilms_ you are the kinda person who's able to suck the life out of anything jesus... im glad im able to avoid people like you in my life just because alot of people doesnt like him doesn't change his fanbase go irritate someone else
Why is he still kinda hot in his 50's...
The Billy Scenes were the best part of this movie
I like how Billy's kinda one of the good guys in this one
I wonder if I was the only person who thought that it was quite interesting to see that Billy Loomis went from a final twist villain to an anti-villain and even a mentor (via visions) for one of the protagonists?
I'm glad they got the same guy to play Billy
Pretty dope how they did this. Billy is a good dad lol
They missed a very. very. Critical detail when billy is shown. The bullet hole in his forehead.
It gives me goosebumps seeing all the characters from 1996-2023
Okay I love these scenes. But one thing that sticks out to me is the question: Is Billy a spirit haunting Sam or a hallucination? In most of his scenes he acts like a hallucination however the fact that he knew where the knife was before Sam did raises the question is his own entity. Hell, maybe he’s both a spirit and a hallucination. Anyway, I love how they made it unclear what he is 👍
Hallucinations, but I like the idea!
He seems a little too self-conscious to me, maybe he was there in fact in spirit
He was a pyscho killer but he was Thoughtful and caring thsts always a good combo in a dad
WE NEED BILLY BACKK!!!
I was hoping Stu makes an appearance too
