You just have to be ready to get popular as fast as possible. Trends are always the same, just give people some fun and knowledge in your content, and you are good to go. Of course, it can be tough to get to that point when you are noticed enough (that's why I am using a bit of Fame- ster for every video I post).
CONTENT like what? how to grow on social media? how to monetize You Tube? How to make it on Instagram? and the same... and the same... showing off your last swim suit in Bali or Thailand or Canary or Dubai? wow can't wait for NEW CONTENTS like that !

The value of the US🇺🇸dollar is declining due to inflation, but it is increasing in comparison to other currencies and commodities such as gold and real estate. I'm worried that rising inflation will cause my 550k in my retirement funds to lose value, But with the help of Mrs Maria I hit 220k this week from my investment of 45k, I am truly grateful for all the knowledge and nuggets you have given me over the past few months.
I feel like all of this social media (reels, stories, Tik Tok) are doing it to make people more comfortable with having short term memory. I'm happy the long form videos are making a comeback 😁
I definitely is watching a lot more long form content. I am craving a comforting vlog with my favorite TH-camrs and choosing to watch this instead of scrolling. I even get annoyed about the shorts coming up in my subscription list. It doesn’t resonates with me anymore. I feel a need to slow down and rewind and get stress realized when i watch content

I just wish social media would disappear like before so we can all be out get along and have real friend not virtual ones. I think that’s why there’s so many ppl with anxiety depression and all that . I used to be obsessed in social media til I stared getting anxious depressed comparing to others I wanted more. So I deleted everything and now it’s been 6 months and I don’t miss it. Only thing I left was TH-cam and that’s all. Trust me you’ll see the world different and you’ll see things you haven’t noticed that are around. My depression and anxiety disappeared like magic I feel amazing and feel bad when I see ppl on the phones all dat
I hear where you’re coming from but social media kinda saved my life. I didn’t get along or fit in with people around me IRL in high school. Some of my best memories and friendships came out of meeting people online.
I have been building my vlog channel since 2020, it's been a slow growth process as a vlog-only channel, but I am so glad I stuck it out, because it's really now beginning to pay off. I am growing and have had some really exciting TH-cam ADs come through. If you're reading this and you're putting your all into TH-cam and your niche, you've got this - keep going! I have just started my channel 3 months ago posting content on home decor and sharing my family life and my career as a nurse practitioner. I truly enjoy my slow organic growth and building my community. I create mostly Long from content but I short percentage of my audience enjoy my shorts on motivations. I don’t want the algorithm to put me in a box for home decor which is where I get the most views and subscribers. I only regret it starting TH-cam sooner!!! Less than 3 months and I’m at 800 subs and counting. I am so blessed to have TH-cam in my life. It’s a big part of my world and I am so grateful for my subscribers ❤❤❤

I'm excited to be a part of the new wave of content TH-camrs!! I've been on the backend as a virtual assistant and now I'm pushing myself to make the content I've been holding on to!
I realised that I watch short form for the visual elements, and long form for the audio. I usually have the audio on mute when I’m on TikTok or Instagram, whereas I’m focusing on what people are saying on TH-cam and am often not actually watching because I’m doing something else. I’m sure I’m not the only one like this.
Good point. I'm exactly like that too. I spend hours watching long form content because I put it on while I'm editing. I only watch a few shorts before bed, sometimes only for 5 mins before I fall asleep. I can't actually look at my phone for very much of the day.....
As I grow and left Instagram, I find myself preferring long form contents. I’ve been preferring watching/listening to even 1hr video that is creative/informative/simple(with less future) content, once a week, then scrolling for hours or watching shorts videos that will spike my anxiety.
Started my super niche medicolegal channel just a few months ago and just reached 250 subscribers. It's unreal knowing there are so many people who wish to learn from me. Very grateful for TH-cam for allowing me a platform where I can help so many people protect themselves from harm. And been watching you for months, so thank you for all the advice! Excited for these new updates since I'm a huge proponent of community building and long form content!

Longform TH-cam content low-key has been consistently doing well. Not saying that there has never been a dip or plateau, but it's just not as TRENDY as other mediums. But without being the shiny new toy, it's still the media consumption platform that doubles as a real search engine and is a great space for evergreen content. Once a reel or TikTok is no longer trending, it's essentially dead. On YT, if your content is relevant, it can always regain traction over YEARS.

Ah me too! I VERY rarely ever peak on Instagram and TikTok. They just don't really speak to me. TikTok feels like nonstop chaotic hectic ADHD pace for example. I watch TH-cam constsntly though and get great value from it.

You may want to set where ads will appear on your videos. While I was watching this videos, an ad appeared during your sponsor ad. I believe you can go to your settings to do this.
This is exhausting and scary. Every video I watch like this jusg gets me more worried and feeling like i'm on a hopeless journey. I spend SO much time working on my IG and this is disheartening
Don’t let it discourage you, you just have to be adaptable because society is ever changing. The only way to get big is to be one of the first ones to jump out of our comfort zone and step into trends that are about to take off. If you end up being a follower and follow media trends after 1 million people have already done it, you’re probably only going to get a small fraction of the results because media changes so fast. Be observant, watch your analytics, think strategy, don’t be scared to try something new and you’ll do great.

Very interesting thank you, I much prefer long-form content as it generally delivers more value, you can end up spending loads of time scrolling through lots of short-form videos and still not get any value, so nice to hear this prediction for 2025.
Coming back to my TH-cam channel now after a huge gap! I’m determined to be very consistent from now on, sharing about my life in Rome and about being married to an Italian. Finally have overcome my fear of making videos in English and am taking real steps towards my true dreams and goals as a content creator 💫
@ thank you! Just do it 💪🏼 A tip : publish your first video unlisted if you’re not 100% confident posting it publicly (but still put the maximum effort to make it as good as you can at the moment). It will help you to get the taste of the entire process. And it will become already less scary for your brain. So to make and publish the next, better video, will be already not that big and scary!

If you end up being a follower and follow media trends after 1 million people have already done it, you’re probably only going to get a small fraction of the results because media changes so fast. Be observant, watch your analytics, think strategy, don’t be scared to try something new and you’ll do great.

Just do it 💪🏼 A tip : publish your first video unlisted if you’re not 100% confident posting it publicly (but still put the maximum effort to make it as good as you can at the moment). It will help you to get the taste of the entire process. And it will become already less scary for your brain. So to make and publish the next, better video, will be already not that big and scary!
