  • We're ready to look at the green light. The stars of the upcoming "The Great Gatsby" musical, Eva Noblezada and Jeremy Jordan, gave an advance look at the show September 28. The two, joined by the show's cast, performed three songs from the new Kait Kerrigan, Jason Howland, and Nathan Tysen musical: the jazzy number "Roaring On," the ballad "Beautiful Little Fool," and the romantic duet "My Green Light" (with flying shirts). Watch the video above.
"The Great Gatsby," based on the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel of the same name, is scheduled for October 12-November 12 at New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse.

If the Great Gatsby took place in New Orleans, this might sound authentic. Fitzgerald set the piece on Long Island.

Um Fitzgerald’s masterpiece takes place during the jazz age and roaring twenties. Doesn’t look as though the composers and choreographers were inspired by either.

That choreography is nonsence, dancing dudes walking like dwarfs on heels. Roaring twenties and Gatsby is about men and women, not transgender ballet routines.

@@patrickfridrichovsky3909 yes I have. I mean I don’t understand how this is a “transgender ballet routine.” Nothing seemed remotely gay to me in anyway. The men were even grabbing the woman’s hips??? So like I don’t know what your point is…

they were responding to the comment where you said 'dancing dudes walking like dwarfs on heels' (as is made clear by the fact they mention that they 'didn't see any men in heels') your statement was not a metaphor, it was a simile because you said they were 'like dwarfs on heels' rather than that they were 'dwarfs on heels' if you are going to be bigoted, at least do it correctly@@patrickfridrichovsky3909
