Congratulations!! I'm thinking about buying the 2 lots next to my property.. when I came to visit for the first time after I bought the property site unseen I feel in love with my own property all over again and then started looking at the next two lots over thinking that I liked them even more!
Congratulations on your purchase and congratulations on starting your home. By now I'm assuming you are done or close to done. Since this video I bought a property in Ohio and haven't gotten around to building in Colorado yet. At one point I had the funds to start and complete the house in Colorado but things in my life have gotten much more complicated. My point in purchasing the property was to slow down my life so now I'm kicking myself in the butt for not building when I could. One thing I've learned is money comes and goes so there is always a new opportunity to make more money to achieve my goals. I wish you all the happiness and peace at your new property in Colorado. Who knows, maybe we will cross paths in the future. Seeing how small the towns are around fort garland it's probably inevitable😊
I'm thinking about getting starlink internet service when I start building.. starlink is a Internet satellite company by Elon Musk super low Latency and speeds fast enough for online gaming!!

Surveyors work is worth it for sure. Keep us posted about your internet and stuff and how you plan to go about having power to run all this stuff out there. I have city power nearby but may go solar depending.
I’m almost done paying off my land in same area. We’re gonna be neighbors. I Looked on Google maps last night and I see two cars and an RV parked on my land. WTH? I live 1200miles away what do I do about squatters? What if their cutting down my piñon trees? I’m about to lose my shit.
Dammm I would have went postal if I caught somebody on my property without my permission. But if you saw them on goggle maps you gotta wonder if they are still there or if the satellite picture was taken before you purchase the property? I'm sure you can get the date of the sat pics some kinda way.. When I visited my plot I got the idea that if I started some kinda construction someone would have definitely introduced their self or starting taking to me to get the scoop on me and my story.. In the ranches area everyone waved and seemed inviting.. Have you been to your land yet? There is a landowner Association that you could possibility get someone to look in on your plot?? Yea the phone signal was just ok... It was kinda spotty but could still find gps and make a call.
