this is such a great track. Schmilco really revealed itself to me as a gem of sorts eventually - it just took some time. There are some fantastic tunes on it.

It's a Kel Kroydon, from 1930 or maybe '31. One of Gibson's short-lived Depression-era brands. Very lightly built. Tweedy's was either super-well cared for or has had some restoration work done to it. Gibson made Kel Kroydon wooden toys too!
