    Your video is amazing as always babe! I'm impressed by how you had such a great time in Bangkok on only 10€. The meditation, dance workout, and street food looked fantastic. I also appreciate how you made use of the local transport. It's not only budget-friendly, but it also gives you an opportunity to experience the city like a local. You're an inspiration for budget travel. Keep sharing your adventures!😍

    Hello, I'm Thai, in Bangkok if you leave the tourist area wandering through alleys and alleys you'll find more local food that Thai people eat, and of course if you want to know more about food you should go outside of Bangkok. ,There are many provinces with food, atmosphere and interesting people, Thailand is not only Bangkok Pattaya or Chiang Mai, if now the king of fruits like Tarian is waiting for you to explore Chanthaburi, I recommend you

    • @backpackerfelipe
      @backpackerfelipe  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hello there! I've spent almost month in Bangkok, trying as many small alley foods as possible. The variety is amazing, Bangkok is my number 1 street food city for sure! Even though most of the food didn't make it into video 😊 I also went to Chaing Mai after Bangkok and travelled around Koh Samui, Phang Nga and Krabi province few years back. I love your country ❤

      @@backpackerfelipe Have a nice trip for you, Chiang Mai has a problem with dust and smoke, You may have to check carefully, the additional part that I would like to recommend you is a secondary city or a city that tourists do not yet know and again if you like Thai food, Atmosphere, people, I recommend that Chanthaburi is interesting during this period, the beach is long, Beautiful scenery, unique food and a community along the Chanthaboon waterfront and the people of the mine go back 10 years to Thailand including Phetchaburi province, If you are interested in Thai desserts, that's the destination where foodies and tourists go

    High level meditation art really good for mind,
    my family used to train in Chiang Mai. There are several levels for each participant to pass and the monk will test how much you improve.
    they said they can calmly control their emotion much better or good at concentrate on something after done with all that long period of stay empty mind.
    on another noted, some said the test will come in the form of your outburst emotion after staying like that for a period of time.

      Yes, meditation should be done by everyone, to keep the mind healthy and clear. Wow, that's really interesting how many approaches to meditation there are, especially in Northern Thailand 😊

    Singha beer in brown bottle was introduced/produced into Thailand about 100 years ago using German recipe by King Rama VI court official Pirompakdi family ancestor. It was highly appreciated by both Thai and expat drinkers. Even though other local brand was introduced one after another but could not shake Singha's dominance and died away until Thai Beverages, the largest and most dominant liquor producer (mostly rum and white spirit) in Thailand, decided to partner with Carlberg to produce the Carlberg brand locally to compete with Singha. It also resulted in a failure to challenge Singha. Both sides gradually drifted apart and Carlberg was eventually no longer produced locally. Before the final breakup, Thai Beverages introduced Chang (Elephant) beer in green bottle, which was much cheaper to gain market share from Singha. It was successful in a few years after heavy promotion and discounted price, and became No.1 seller. This was the reason that Carlberg decided to quit the Thai market as it seemed its Thai partner did not care to promote Carlberg anymore after Chang beer was successfully introduced. Singha did not give in and introduced Leo in brown bottle at the same price of Chang and it instantly became a success as well. Now, Chang and Leo are neck and neck, dominating local Thai beer market. Owners of Chang/rum/white spirit and Singha/Leo are Thai billionaires.
    Note: Alcohol sale is banned on religious holidays and the evening prior to general election day and the election day itself. On a regular day, alcohol sale is available from 11.00-14.00 and 17.00-24.00 at 7-11 and mini/super stores, Lotus or Big C. However, this is Thailand and you can always buy your favorite beer/liquor at your small convenient store in your village at all hours (if the store opens). Some shops stay open until 2 am on Friday and Saturday in some villages. Don't know why the police ignore those small shops selling alcohol at all hours. BTW, Chang/Leo in 350 ml can costs 35-36 baht at neighboring village store but 39 baht at 7-11.

    At 7-11, bottled water of 700ml costs around 7 baht, but for 7-11 brand itself it is 6 baht. But I see western vlogger buys 1.5 liter bottle at a cost of 13 baht as Bangkok is very hot right now. The 1.5 liter bottle is also popular with Tipsy Tubing in Pai which some fill in beer to drink while enjoy tubing in hot weather in the afternoon. Previously, you can openly drink beer from can but Pai Police decide in their indefinite wisdom that tourists might drown if they get drunk, so they prohibit the Tuber to drink beer while floating in the river Pai.

    • @backpackerfelipe
      @backpackerfelipe  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It really a city with hot climate. But I really liked that I could refill the bottles almost everywhere for just 1 Baht a liter! Even though not with a beer as in Pai 😁 I've heard about the Tipsy Tubing but didn't know that this happens there, thank you for the info! I guess I have to come back to try this activity too

      Indeed, public transport in and around Bangkok has improved significantly over the last two decades.
      The only unfortunate thing is the interoperability integrated ticketing between all the lines and modes. The Mangnoom Card is supposed to solve this. Planned launch is June 2023 (after being first introduced in 2015).
