BackBone Outdoors I'm in the same boat as you(pun intended) but anyways something that I learned from my dads boats is don't buy cheap just because it's all you can afford, you're better off to wait until you can afford a newer boat

Its hard I see really nice flats boats for less than a quarter of that price everywhere. You are not someone special that is going to drive up the value. Its all about having that "BT" on the side without it I price it at around 20k. I got my 2006 flats skiff for 3200 and slapped some seadeck and a new trolling motor with ipilot and I didnt have to spend 60,000 dollars to do it.
