It was pre-recorded due to Floor having emergency gall bladder surgery after being rushed to hospital 3 weeks beforehand during the virtual concert rehearsals, she was advised by doctors not to travel.
What is amazing, even 2 weeks after having her gall bladder and 15 stones in it removed, she had the ability to sing this beautifully and record herself moving around as much as she did. They asked her to send them her singing it in multiple takes and, sent her beautiful voice in to be played with the live band. The woman is beyond amazing. Did you see how all the professional singers were reacting, she killed it? At this point, do you guys really think live she would have done a bad job with it?
She was asked to send them multiple video takes and the audio recording Floor made at her home studio was sync'd to the video edit created by the Beste Zangers crew. I wonder why the shows producers didn't just choose one take and go with that. The edits are pretty obvious. The fan is off for one take and on for the other and Floor's cape is on then off her shoulders! 😂 Oh well. I'm just glad Floor did it.
