Great SUV. Probably the best buy under $150k in terms of looks and performance. X5m might be faster but this looks way more exotic… Urus is also very cool, if you can afford one by all means get one, but it’s just an RSQ8 in a body suit.

Great review. I bought a new RS Q8 and have put about 2500miles on it. Very impressive car, it does about everything you need and is much more roomy than it appears. Definitely not cheap, but I feel you get what you pay for, especially with the competitors in this area. I was close to going with an SQ8, knowing the engine is the same, but the RSQ8 has significant suspension tuning and it handles like a sports car, truly crazy at times. I'm glad I got the RS. It's a sleeper SUV, but people that know what it is love it. I have mine lowered with the CETE software and also put the Capristo exhaust on it. The only negative I have, which is obviously solvable, is in stock form the exhaust is SUPER quiet for the V8TT/performance car it is... If you buy one, I would definitely budget for an aftermarket system.

Even the SQ8 is crazy with the detuned version of this 4.0L V8 that still produces a healthy 500 HP~ I mean if you don't need that much power, go for the SQ8. Same platform as the Lamborghini Urus, the Bentley Bentayga, the Porsche Cayenne, and even Audi's own Q7/SQ7, but all the cars have different levels of performance to give each an identity.

What I love about Audi is that they are out of powertrain warranty at a crisp 50k miles or 4 years rite when it starts to have oil consumption issues .
Fun fact the RSQ8 has 10 piston break clippers and actually lowers its air ride RS specific tuned suspension a tad more than a SQ8 which only has 6 piston break calipers. The RSQ8 is only 1/2 a second faster than the SQ8 though .

Beautiful car but to much plastic on it screams VW (yes I know it's made by VW) but it isn't worth 120k imo I'd give it 95k at the most. Some features look so cheap.

I don't know about everyone else, but I like the rsq8 better than the Urus. Interior/Exterior looks better and looks less cluttered inside. Just my humble opinion 😊
