Sou do Brasil. Aqui esses carros foram fabricados por anos e aos montes. Ainda tem muito por aqui, tanto que exportamos muitos sobreviventes para a América e Europa.
Yup, any speed, speeding if speed, top speed was about 45. I onevgot up to 60mph once, literally downhill and tailwind, blew up the engine and destroyed the transaxle…lol. Ah yes, the good old days 🤠
@@EverettSamba Thanks for the clarification. Not quite 50 years ago I owned a Dove Blue '62 standard Bus with the same smaller rear window as some of the Busses in this video. I bought from a hippie for $475 plus my 10 speed bike. The seller took the money, got on my old bike and pedaled away. I think I found it with a for sale sign lined up at my local supermarket like people used to do when selling their old cars. Although it had dents, it was not all rusty and it had a zippy 1300 cc engine from a '66 Beetle.
Great colours!
As Henry Ford said "You can have any color you'd like as long as it's green and white".
I'm paraphrasing.
So cool to see them brand new!

I had a 1963 van in 1972. I put a bed in the back and a tape deck up front.
I wonder how many of these beauties survived to this day?
It's California so one or more could still be around... Too bad we don't have all the VIN #s to ask on Samba if anyone owns one.

Howdy, Howdy . . . It's Everett!
Great old movie. I'm also curious as to where this was. The supply place they stopped at had a sign that read Oakville Builder's Supply.
Oakville, CA?
Safe at any speed

Did they still offer the small rear window in '63, or are some those '62 models?
1963 was the last year of the small rear window and I can tell some or all of these are 1963 models because of the extra lip on the rear fender well.
