Another thing, should I be hyped for this? I was when it got an English dub but now my "hype" is out the window as my parents don't give a fudge about Code Geass anymore. Now they think I'm telling my friends we're not exactly friends, you and I, I'm just replying to a Code Geass enthusiasts comment. I just want to discuss Code Geass with you as I get fed up explaining my sadness to an AI online (they're not real lol).
I saw the first 2 episodes of Code Geass Rozé of the Recapture series on the Gilli anime app on my tablet and it looks so good! I wonder will it get a DVD release some day? It better not be crazy expensive like the Blu Ray collectors edition, though.
Honestly making a detective/mystery style series focusing on lelouch and C.C dealing with geass users would've been a better sequal than the shit we got lmao
Yeah, seems a bit convoluted. Britania wasn't in the best shape when "Zero" united the world so it seems weird that they'd suddenly gain back power in only a few years. I mean yeah, there's people with magic powers running around but on a pure logistical level Britania shouldn't have been able to retain so much power in such a short amount of time. I get that the new show needs a conflict but if the world government is working well (which it is implied that it is) than Britania should not have the power they do.
@andrewowens4421 also i remember making jeremiah kill Charles's loyal dudes or geassing them. This people coming out with good knightmare pilots... Makes no sense.
@@andrewowens4421 The most logical thing would be that these guys went into hiding instead of meddling with Lelouch and schneizels business and waited for an opportunity to pop outta nowhere Also this is Neo Britannia, it's just a Random Rag tag of Nobles that wants the old Britannia back, the Current Britannia became a Principality of Britannia
This new series definitely has big shoes to fill and it's not a bad anime all things considered. My problem with it is that a lot of the conflict seems forced. Britania shouldn't have as much power as it has. 3 years isn't anywhere near enough time to become a threat to the world again. At the moment it seems things are happening because the plot demands it rather than happening because events lead into one another. If Roze was it's own thing; say an alternate universe than a lot of my gripes wouldn't matter. At the very least it should have been 10 years as opposed to three if you really want to push the idea that Britania once again gained the power to be a threat to the world. Remember, Britania had lost a lot of personnel and resources when the war officially came to an end so it was not in the best place to retaliate so quickly. Britania was made strong so that there'd be a reason for conflict and not because conflict arose because they had gained strength. And I got nothing against the fanservice. The original Code Geass was chock full of it. Though I will admit there is a higher concentration of it than in the original. It's only the third episode so we'll see where things go, but I'll give it a chance because I do love giant robots and I do love Code Geass.
I mean...how much time did Lelouch had when he completely dismantled Britania with Geass?, If Lelouch can do all that then it'll also possible for someone with geass+smarts to become a new threat to the world... 😅😅😅😅
The Britannia in this series isn't even the real Britannia, the Real one became a Principality, the Current Neo Britannia are just Nobles who wants their old Britannia back They most likely we're stationed away from the mainland when Lelouch started his purge and they went into hiding, the black knights managed to hide and got big so it's not a Surprise a Bunch of Nobles Can pull it off too
As Lelouch found his some what female version of himself which is Sakuya(which she looks like Lelouch gotten crossdress in the picture drama), and there is some character who is look like princess Serenity who got tanned and had a bust size 8:48
I never understood why Lelouch, who believed he should be the only one to have the Power of the King until he died, would willingly pass on the power to another even after his resurrection. I mean, sure, maybe after hundred of years of immortality his mind would change, but just a few years later? Um....
WAIT WAIT WAIT. THIS SERIES IS THE SEQUEL OF THE OG SERIES AND THE FILM? PLEASE,SOMEONE MUST SPOIL ME. P.S:Should i see the other code geass like the Fate series? Or i can jump dorectly to this series?
Roze follows the movie timeline. The OG anime ended where it did. Reccomend watching the 3 recap films, aka Initiation, Transgression, Glorification, then Re;surrection.
because it's not canon to the original timeline (it follow's lelouch's resurrection timeline, not the original timeline where he did died [which is good because it's best not to make a sequel of an anime that ended good]. Aaaand most "events" kinda doesn't make sense like inability of the UFN to intervene to such small enemy.
