I don’t think Smurf accounts are good, but it’s the only way to combat the shitty SBMM if you have no one else to run with. So most people who use them (in 25) are making the best of a shitty situation 🤷♂️
I was thinking bout finally getting ps5 just for 2k25 i haven't played since 2k22 but from what I see.. • Shot timing is INTENTIONALLY inconsistent? 🗑 • Adrenaline bars? 🗑 • Badge grind? I used to be able to give my play shot badges like chase down which made the game fun or how I could change up my badges when I max out but not anymore 🗑 • You can now foul out in park whereas you used to be able to foul as much as you want until you were graded out 🗑 • The price of game increased and it was criminally unjustified 🗑 • I'm seeing ppl legit miss wide open lays 🗑

So I don't get the the point in people complaining. The people that play 10-12 hours a day and don't actually go outside on a regular basis dealing with a real job and real life. No average everyday person has access to 12 hours of gaming a day. So of course the person that plays more is going to be better. I should not be penalized because I'd rather go out and have some drinks and get some 🐱. And come home at 2:00 am and load the game up and have to face a dude that's been face deep in a monitor for a half a day. The people that brag about 90+ win percentage. Let them play each other. So at the end of the year you really know who's been the best over the year and not just boosting Asia servers and low quality parks . Bro, i disagree with you with certain things, 1, You can get better with playing against ppl on your level, because there is a range, but no way a 30% win % players getting better agaisnt players with 60, 70 + win% when they not getting to do Anything because better players have cheesy builds and lineups. Now when you play against players om your level, you actually get to learn because you get to do stuff and then gradually move up on playing better players, in lamest terms, You not learning anything if the mismatch is to great, ppl crawling vs ppl sprinting. 2 SBMM does not exist or is not that strong in park because am seeing ppl with low win % and ppl with high win % as well in every park i go in. But i would suggest that even in Park there sbould be SBMM but a reasonable range, e.g. 40win % and below, 41 win% to 50% and gradually just have a 10% win range 3, And Yes so called comp be running from each other in previous 2k's, I have seen Purple plated squads wait 5+ games just to get on random courts to play bums. 4, Your looking at top player perspective, you said you shouldbt have to be playing good players so much etc, well imagine average and below average players having to play the Elites 90% of time, how you think they feel to, they go on random squads just to meet a damn purple plated squad with a damn cheesy lineup 5 I know there is rank modes such as Proven grounds, Pro Am etc but alot of casual play park, and i feel like 2k is protecting the casuals from the elite becuse they realize the elites been preying on the casuals, and there is no way you cant tell me Elites dont prey on casuals! As someone who plays games like League of Legends, i disagree with this idea that 'comp players' would not make new or 'bad players' better. That kind of thinking usually doesnt help most massively competitive games. League also has sbmm in its casual modes because being good at league and being bad are so different and they SHOULDNT play together Edit: i find the use of Call of Duty's sbmm system to be interesting. Because now we are talking about a game that is MADE to keep you at 1 k/d and 1 win rate.

That's not even what he's saying. He's saying he shouldn't have to face sweats EVERY single game even in casual modes. Sometimes people just wanna hop on and have fun but when you're at a certain skill level you can't mess around or try anything new because you're gonna get smacked. In a game where only certain playstyles or a few moves are viable against highly competitive players sbmm makes the game feel more stale and repetitive.
Let me add also... for good players aka red borders cant find games because the player pool is way smaller. I wait 5 or 10 mins for a game. Also everyone in the top 10 is playing on brand new builds to get bot lobbies so bad players are being directly targeted anyways where as random lobbies you cant target bad players. My last point is if youre a red border like me its hard to play with friends that arnt because they have to play against my sweats which makes the game unenjoyable for them. Great video

I’m at pro level halfway through the bar and me and my friend sometimes can barely get games in theater that’s the main mode I play. Me and my friend play on the 2”s to be able get quick games instead of waiting on spots. I almost broke my controller the other day due to me and my friend getting matchup against Cashout yt who is the number #1 rep in the game. He’s greening every shot in my face and playing with a 60 ovr so he can get games which is something players are doing to abuse the sbmm.

Shit is trash because once a casual player is actually good at the game then all he gets to play against are players who only care to win by any means necessary even if they have to abuse certain glitch and cheese moves. For instance i play 1s. Now that I've hit gold/purple all i run into are 7 ft oversized post scorers who back me down for the entire shot clock until I'm underneath the rim so i can't even get a proper contest. Nevermind the fact that they also stay in the paint for over 5 seconds when there should've been a 3 sec called but that call apparently doesn't exist in 1v1. It's literally unplayable for me now. How is that fair that i have to keep playing BS like that? Where's the variety for me?
Your only option is to keep losing until you get dropped down to baller or hooper rank or stop playing the game, which I think most people are going to start doing soon.
@Clamp_TV I legit have been playing less and less since the first week. I really like the gameplay, so I only play now when my friends are on. Not only do I deal with the issues above, but it also takes them at least 5-10 minutes just to find a dam match for me. All so I can play somebody who abuses the game. I can't even load up and just play anymore. I'm over it, man.

I work 12 hour shifts, workout(went from 400 pounds to 225), full time college student, and engaged soon to be married. I’m still vip red border 75 win percentage, facts most of 2k players are just bad and don’t have any knowledge on basketball in the first place. The changing gameplay every year doesn’t help them either 😂😂 but good players will always adapt though.

@@InfamousText Bro don't be bias, it's not fair to casuals, and it's hard to get better playing against ppl that's way better than you, imagine being in my court learning your moves, then go to park, go on randoms, and you playing a purple squad with a defence menace, you not learning nothing cause you won't get chance to do anything cause the Skill gap is too huge, in FIFA you have 10 ranks, you only move up to higher rank if you win certain amount of games, you won't get rank 10 players playing rank 1 and 2 players unless it's Weekend league but this mismatch in skill is a regularity in 2k alot. Same as Mortal Kombat, imagine a low rank player playing a high rank player, they ain't learning shit cause they won't even gets chance to do anything. And in these other games you know who the best players are, not in 2k because they so called elites and comp only want to play with high win % player and play against low win % players, so you don't know who is the best of best. And bro 2k ain't want casuals to get off game because there is more casuals than elites lol, Just my 2cents bro

As someone who plays games like League of Legends, i disagree with this idea that 'comp players' would not make new or 'bad players' better. That kind of thinking usually doesnt help most massively competitive games. League also has sbmm in its casual modes because being good at league and being bad are so different and they SHOULDNT play together
Edit: i find the use of Call of Duty's sbmm system to be interesting. Because now we are talking about a game that is MADE to keep you at 1 k/d and 1 win rate.

That's not even what he's saying. He's saying he shouldn't have to face sweats EVERY single game even in casual modes. Sometimes people just wanna hop on and have fun but when you're at a certain skill level you can't mess around or try anything new because you're gonna get smacked. In a game where only certain playstyles or a few moves are viable against highly competitive players sbmm makes the game feel more stale and repetitive.

Let me add also... for good players aka red borders cant find games because the player pool is way smaller. I wait 5 or 10 mins for a game. Also everyone in the top 10 is playing on brand new builds to get bot lobbies so bad players are being directly targeted anyways where as random lobbies you cant target bad players. My last point is if youre a red border like me its hard to play with friends that arnt because they have to play against my sweats which makes the game unenjoyable for them. Great video

I’m at pro level halfway through the bar and me and my friend sometimes can barely get games in theater that’s the main mode I play. Me and my friend play on the 2”s to be able get quick games instead of waiting on spots.
I almost broke my controller the other day due to me and my friend getting matchup against Cashout yt who is the number #1 rep in the game. He’s greening every shot in my face and playing with a 60 ovr so he can get games which is something players are doing to abuse the sbmm.

Shit is trash because once a casual player is actually good at the game then all he gets to play against are players who only care to win by any means necessary even if they have to abuse certain glitch and cheese moves. For instance i play 1s. Now that I've hit gold/purple all i run into are 7 ft oversized post scorers who back me down for the entire shot clock until I'm underneath the rim so i can't even get a proper contest. Nevermind the fact that they also stay in the paint for over 5 seconds when there should've been a 3 sec called but that call apparently doesn't exist in 1v1. It's literally unplayable for me now. How is that fair that i have to keep playing BS like that? Where's the variety for me?

Not only do I deal with the issues above, but it also takes them at least 5-10 minutes just to find a dam match for me. All so I can play somebody who abuses the game. I’ve been shit in every 2k since 14💀, mainly because of the servers and everyone pretty much called me dumb for trying to explain the delay back then at age 14 lol. But this year I actually won my first 2 games online and scored 14pts a piece. Now this may be because of the servers being the best I’ve ever seen (actually playable) or SBMM🤣🤣🤣

I work 12 hour shifts, workout(went from 400 pounds to 225), full time college student, and engaged soon to be married. I’m still vip red border 75 win percentage, facts most of 2k players are just bad and don’t have any knowledge on basketball in the first place. The changing gameplay every year doesn’t help them either 😂😂 but good players will always adapt though.
