- Luke sets out on a high altitude off-road adventure with Yamaha in rugged and beautiful Taylor Park, Colorado. Starting from the base camp situated at 10,000 feet elevation, Luke climbs higher up into the mountains with a group of riders aboard a pack of Wolverine RMAX 1000 side-x-sides to test this machine's ability to conquer terrain and conditions our crew doesn't often get to experience.

Incredible! Been living in Colorado since 2010. Coming from LI NY. I miss the beach but love the mountains and all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.

Sounds like you had a very fun time on the adventure. I just got my rmax last week. In kentucky we have some nice trails but not quiet like what you were on.

You need to do a Cape Breton Highlands adventure trip. Show off great Canadian destinations. Make sure to plan time for some boating in the Bras d’OR lakes while in Cape Breton. Bring your fishing gear.

Guys watch any Knik River Glacier videos from Alaska, you want to talk about badass fording and extreme climate there ya go! Sure you don’t get the elevation difference, which is I know a big difference. Elevation, will simulate oxygen depletion (spl?) , which will kill power from non-forced inducted power plants!
Notta a bad way to spend the day, cool trails, especially the one engulfed in the water, pretty sweet

Hey everyone! Can anyone tell me what the thread is in the bed of the RMax? I mean the 8 mounting holes for accessories. I just got my RMax Limited and need to mount my aftermarket box. I’m guessing M6 threads.
You were in my ply ground! Sadly had to sell my Rmax this year because of the inside cab engine noise, gives the wife migraines. On the hunt for the quietest utv.

Very cool stuff, but i have to ask this, lol. If yamaha is really listening to us, why won't they give us more impressive hp numbers on their products? The Rmax should be sitting at 120-130 hp, minimum. I don't need turbo power necessarily, but just over 100 hp is not enough IMO on any of these bigger sxs's.
It's competitive power against the Commander and General.
Is it in may or june ?
How many days of riding is there in Taylor Park to see everything? I would be coming from Texas to ride this park.
