Hi, Gerard, your consistent amazement is great to watch, ….but for your own comfort, you need to realise that Dimash is part of a Godly destiny that is a bit like how Jesus did miracles like no other, …and Dimash can sing and be like no other because he is endowed with talents and abilities like no other, and is going where no man has gone before, with drive and foresight that no one else can muster….and he has been supernaturally connected with musical education from his home and nation and now also Igor Krutoy. His Chinese experience also includes unusual tones and ways of singing. You need to consider the complete package that is Dimash….. His character, personality, friendly and loving nature, religious upbringing, national identity, education and their availability to him as he grew up, his usability as a public front, his bodily beauty and handsomeness, his ability to go into the zone and emotionalise without fear or embarrassment and take us all with him….and I could go on and on. These abilities are not normally possible in one human being, and so…..his destiny prevails. He is correcting the use of music in cultures with his international presence, reinventing the use of frequencies that had become almost unusable, creating vision in music freaks/educated students and teachers, in possibilities and techniques, removing the male/female protocols, restoring the use of correct musicality for Worship which is what it initially was created for. And has begun the restoration of using musical frequencies for healing, restoration and refreshment. А так в курсе, что у него есть своя студия и многие песни звучали именно из домашней студии, где на стенах были национальные инструменты. В данном видео они отсутствуют, но мой опыт мне подсказывает, что это не домашняя студия. Могу и ошибаться.

Es increible Dimash. Estoy de acuerdo. Es un genio musical. Un genio de la sensibilidad y la comunicación musical. No importa que que idioma cante. El trasmite con su voz y su cuerpo absolutamente todo. Es muy elevado.
Bien dices Gerard, lo que Dimash causa con su canto no lo hace cualquiera. Lo he comentado en diversas ocasiones, por qué Dimash nos ha atrapado, nos ha cautivado…? Dimash tiene virtuosidad vocal, inteligencia musical, presencia escénica, etc., pero hay algo en él que va más allá de ser sólo un cantante con todas esas virtudes, Dimash entrega el alma, su esencia, transmitiendo y emanando su energía desde su Ser interno… Él entrega todo, eso lo percibe el alma de las personas que lo escuchan. Por eso tantas sensaciones y emociones encontradas,a veces tristeza, otras paz, alegría, etc. Él mueve todo nuestro Ser. Nos libera las emociones atoradas, conflictos internos no resueltos, etc. Su energía es de muy alta frecuencia vibratoria, la cual interactúa y mueve la energía de las personas que lo escuchamos. Dimash tiene un don y talento que viene del cielo. Dios lo dotó con esa voz. tiene en su garganta el sonido de muchos instrumentos. Lo más bello de todo es que el reconoce que es Dios quien le dio ese don.
Hello Gerard, as always fantastic reaction. Remember in 2017 when Dimash was invited to compete in the Singer, he was the only non Chinese. So, of course he had to sing first for The Singer season. He was only 22 during that competition and as he said, “that was the first time singing on the ‘adult stage’”. He didn’t know English well at all. I can’t speak for other languages because I only know English. I know a little Spanish but not enough to understand conversations. There have been many critics of Dimash’s English speaking but there are thousands who only know English and can’t speak it properly so they have no room to criticize him at all. Then many call him an alien or not an human being. He is 100%+ a human being who has worked, trained, and practiced vigorously since age 5 to achieve his dream of becoming a great singer which he did not take for granted. He will be 28 in May 2022 and listen to his English now. Igor Krutoy who is a renowned maestro/composer who came out of retirement to work with Dimash. I love it when it’s just the two of them on stay. Igor is extremely particular with whom he works with and he saw greatness in Dimash. Dimash is not only a talented singer but he is a truly humble young man who loves everyone. He’s working on his doctorate degree in musicology and I understand that his little brother helps him with English translations. Dimash does not take his singing for granted and has fans around the world. You won’t find half naked woman shaking their bodies forgetting that they are not in their bedrooms. Rappers sing violent songs which I don’t bother listening to. Even though Dimash sings in many languages, he knows exactly what he’s singing and can transmit the emotions that we all enjoy. There is no singer like him and again he is a real human being like all of us. The difference is, he strives for perfection. 2017 was just the very beginning, look where he is now? His mom is an Opera singer and his dad is his producer. I know this wasn’t easy for Dimash but his love of singing has him where he is today. Still training and swimming. I love your reactions.❤️

Please don’t go Please don’t go Stay with me forever Verse 2 Someday…..my heart will …..someday… Be somewhere far away Everything will remain only as a memory Though it’s better not to know It’s better not to know Ikanaide was used as the title song for a Chinese-Japanese TV series "Farewell, Lixianglan" about a Japanese actress Yoshiko Yamaguchi (12 Feb 1920 - 7 Sept 2014) who was born in China. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li Xianglan. She became famous in China during World War II. However, once the war was over and her identity was revealed, she was accused of being a spy and was deported to Japan. She didn't return to China for many years. Ms Yamaguchi did return to China in her later years as the Japanese Parliamentary Vice Minister of Environment. This song is saying goodbye to her Chinese name Li Xianglan. It is also a metaphor, as the lyrics speak of how a person has to hide what she feels inside. In 1993, Hong Kong singer Jacky Cheung adapted it into Mandarin with the meaning of the song different from that of the original. He called it Late Autumn. In 2004 the Taiwanese singer and Dimash's friend, Terry Lin, adapted the song into a new Mandarin version entitled "Autumn Strong”. I agree with you he is a musical genius and will me know as a master composer and vocalist, likely the greatest ever known. Many people assume Igor Krutoy or other people are responsible for his greatness, while I acknowledge their contribution one must understand Dimash ultimately has say in the song and is as great as the others. I think many underestimate just how good he is at composition and he is not just the greatest vocalist on earth, he is the complete package and his wisdom will just continue to grow.

Bien dices Gerard, lo que Dimash causa con su canto no lo hace cualquiera. Lo he comentado en diversas ocasiones, por qué Dimash nos ha atrapado, nos ha cautivado…? Dimash tiene virtuosidad vocal, inteligencia musical, presencia escénica, etc., pero hay algo en él que va más allá de ser sólo un cantante con todas esas virtudes, Dimash entrega el alma, su esencia, transmitiendo y emanando su energía desde su Ser interno… Él entrega todo, eso lo percibe el alma de las personas que lo escuchan. Por eso tantas sensaciones y emociones encontradas,a veces tristeza, otras paz, alegría, etc. Él mueve todo nuestro Ser. Nos libera las emociones atoradas, conflictos internos no resueltos, etc. Su energía es de muy alta frecuencia vibratoria, la cual interactúa y mueve la energía de las personas que lo escuchamos. Hello Gerard, as always fantastic reaction. Remember in 2017 when Dimash was invited to compete in the Singer, he was the only non Chinese. So, of course he had to sing first for The Singer season. He was only 22 during that competition and as he said, “that was the first time singing on the ‘adult stage’”. He didn’t know English well at all. I can’t speak for other languages because I only know English. I know a little Spanish but not enough to understand conversations. There have been many critics of Dimash’s English speaking but there are thousands who only know English and can’t speak it properly so they have no room to criticize him at all. Then many call him an alien or not an human being. He is 100%+ a human being who has worked, trained, and practiced vigorously since age 5 to achieve his dream of becoming a great singer which he did not take for granted. He will be 28 in May 2022 and listen to his English now. Igor Krutoy who is a renowned maestro/composer who came out of retirement to work with Dimash. I love it when it’s just the two of them on stay. Igor is extremely particular with whom he works with and he saw greatness in Dimash. Dimash is not only a talented singer but he is a truly humble young man who loves everyone. He’s working on his doctorate degree in musicology and I understand that his little brother helps him with English translations. Dimash does not take his singing for granted and has fans around the world. You won’t find half naked woman shaking their bodies forgetting that they are not in their bedrooms. Rappers sing violent songs which I don’t bother listening to. Even though Dimash sings in many languages, he knows exactly what he’s singing and can transmit the emotions that we all enjoy. There is no singer like him and again he is a real human being like all of us. The difference is, he strives for perfection. 2017 was just the very beginning, look where he is now? His mom is an Opera singer and his dad is his producer. I know this wasn’t easy for Dimash but his love of singing has him where he is today. Still training and swimming. I love your reactions.❤️

Ikanaide was used as the title song for a Chinese-Japanese TV series "Farewell, Lixianglan" about a Japanese actress Yoshiko Yamaguchi (12 Feb 1920 - 7 Sept 2014) who was born in China. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li Xianglan. She became famous in China during World War II. However, once the war was over and her identity was revealed, she was accused of being a spy and was deported to Japan. She didn't return to China for many years. Ms Yamaguchi did return to China in her later years as the Japanese Parliamentary Vice Minister of Environment.
This song is saying goodbye to her Chinese name Li Xianglan. It is also a metaphor, as the lyrics speak of how a person has to hide what she feels inside.
In 1993, Hong Kong singer Jacky Cheung adapted it into Mandarin with the meaning of the song different from that of the original. He called it Late Autumn. In 2004 the Taiwanese singer and Dimash's friend, Terry Lin, adapted the song into a new Mandarin version entitled "Autumn Strong”.
Dimash performed the Terry Lin version (Autumn Strong) when he participated in the 2017 The Singer competition in China. He sang it in Episode 4 of the competition and it was his first time singing in Mandarin.
Regarding Dimash’s Japanese performance, a Japanese reactor said that Dimash’s pronunciation was perfect. It was as good as a native speaker’s. It shows how much of a perfectionist Dimash is and how many hours he must have spent on his pronunciation and delivery.
In addition, Goro Matsui, who wrote the lyrics to “Ikanaide” praised Dimash’s performance and said:
“I’ve heard ‘Ikanaide’ sung by foreign singers in their native language many times. Even though they all sing great, none of them seemed to quite capture the sound/reverberation and meaning of the original lyrics and perceive the emotions between the lines. In this song, the phrase ~ Ah, ikanaide~ is repeated several times in the chorus. Although they are the same exact words, each line has a different meaning.
“But this is the first time anyone has sung it so beautifully in Japanese. I happened to find Dimash singing “Ikanaide” by chance. The first thing that surprised me was his crystal clear tone and his expressive voice that conveys the lyrics of the song.”

I agree with you he is a musical genius and will me know as a master composer and vocalist, likely the greatest ever known. Many people assume Igor Krutoy or other people are responsible for his greatness, while I acknowledge their contribution one must understand Dimash ultimately has say in the song and is as great as the others. I think many underestimate just how good he is at composition and he is not just the greatest vocalist on earth, he is the complete package and his wisdom will just continue to grow.
