This was especially for the Tokyo Jazz Festival. That year they were honoring Koji Tamaki the composer of this song. Other performers had sung this song for him but not in Japanese. Dimash was the only one to sing it in Japanese. Tamaki thought that it was special. Dimash usually sings it in Chinese. Remember Dimash only speaks Kazakh and Russian and he’s been doing pretty good in English these days. When he does a concert in another country, he tries hard to sing a song in their language. He can sing in many languages but that’s only phonetically. Dimash is a special young man! Many people try to put him in a box but as soon as you close the lid, Dimash comes busting out of the box.
