Great video. I myself did an MBA from one of the top 5 Indian B-Schools, then did a second MBA in the US over 20 years ago and then settled permanently in the US. No wonder people don’t want to come back to India. There is much less competition in the US for high paid jobs in the US compared to India. Most of my colleagues work 9 to 5, and don’t work on any weekends. So work-life balance is exponentially better in the US, Would strongly advise folks to migrate to developed, first world countries if possible. You will thank me for it.
Thanks for sharing your perspective, and congratulations on your academic and professional journey. It's great to hear that you've found success and a better work-life balance in the US.
Your colleagues need to cease working 9 - 5, and find 9 - 1 jobs instead. The employers in your country need to change the work schedule from 9 - 5, to 9 - 1 or less, 3 days each week. If they try to say no then if people try to work for, say 14 hours a day they collapse because their bodies collapse. I know this because somebody told me her friend in Iceland died after trying to work 14 hours. The reason for why she is still alive is, because she does not fall for this stupidity. She works for less than 9 - 5. The more work you do, the less impressed people are with you until you finally reach the end goal of the 9 - 5 hour job, which becomes the moment your boss fires you. Your boss does not want 9 - 5 people around, your political parties do not want 9 - 5 people around, your family does not want 9 - 5 people around, your friends do not want 9 - 5 people around, suddenly you end up becoming the last man on Earth of 8,1 billion people who still wants to try to make it one day with a 9 - 5 hour job - impossible. The day consists of 24 hours, and you can only work for 5 as recommended by the W.H.O. and by scientists.

Had to work for almost 12-14 hrs everyday during lockdown and I couldn't see myself going anywhere with that job. I gave CAT too after leaving the job but couldn't get a good percentile. Now it's been 2 years since I've been unemployed and am not able to decide what to do. I don't have a clear goal in mind even at the age of 26. But I want good work life balance in whatever job I'll do. From watching your video I have decided that if I go for MBA I will choose HR field just because of good work life balance. I don't care about earning more money. But atleast I should be able to do all those things that I want to do along with the job.
