I'm thinking about a theory where kain is actually Rugal's unknown little brother. It would be that their father left Rugal's mother and had Kain and Rock's Mother. It would be logical that Kain starts his criminal career with his already notorious half brother Rugal...at least before they disagree which made Kain go back to Southtown. Could also be Grant but I'd have Kain as Rugal's half brother. That would explain how he had the reppuken move since his half sister was married to Geese.
