Great review! I have T-Mobile and went in yesterday to look at it. They just got it in so it wasn't displayed yet. I have the One Plus 6T now. I went ahead and ordered the Velvet online since they didn't have the color I wanted. I like the dual screen option so I may look into getting that in the future. I'm actually really into this phone as LG's start in revamping their phone series. What's I'm not into is having to pay an extra $100 just to have it on Verizon 😭
T-mobile lowered the Velvet for $96 while Verizon has it at full retail price. Do the math, unless you wish to throw money 💰 away. Unfortunately the main reason T-Mobile decided to lower LG phones is primarily because LG is not going to release any more models. They have decided to pull out of cell phones due to the popularity & competition of Samsung & Apple models.

I just recently got an LG Velvet 5G phone.. I'm living in Canada. I had to upgrade, due to my LG G8 ThinQ dropping and breaking the back glass, where the camera and thumbprint sensor resides. However, I also learned recently, that LG will no longer be focusing on smartphones. They will be pulling out of the mobile market and only concentrating on smart home products.

A question at the end of the introduction below; I have an LG v40. Works fine. I like the V60, but I think it is too big. If the v60 was between its current size and the size of the v40 I would have had it already. Well, the Velvet is only very slightly smaller than the v60, but still "smaller". I mainly use it to stream videos such as TH-cam or Netflix. And routine internet connections and searches and so forth and for taking videos and pictures. No gaming
Does anyone else have problems with their backlight going out each and every time you touch any button? Also is the second screen included in the price, and come with the LG velvet?
