Just my feeling,Trossard is at his best coming from bench,not starting, which is evident from the last match. Feel like Sterling will take over the leftwing in some time
you people forget that Martinelli is not a goal machine but he creates dangerous moments, i think he should play there, I like his energy, and he can do his job very well. and trossard from bench is fire cos he reads the game from outside splendidly.

100% agreed, Trossard is the 12th man and our go to guy for impact. Martinelli is under the most threat from Sterling and ill give it a month before hes starting

Timber has same aggression athleticism strength pace like Declan I LL rather he plays that Declans position for the next game and we bring in calafiori or kiwior we need that energy level in midfield leave kai up top as usual

I agree with you. I would have played Timber in midfield from the start of the season - he's a good ball carrier. He can progress the ball better than any defender Arsenal have.

Trossard being a key member of the squad is an understatement. IMHO, he is one of Arsenal's best players, so underrated!

With merino injured, rice out for spurs match,jesus injured, what happens if kia or party gets injured?our transfer this summer was not good enough. We are short on strikers and midfield. Unless arteta has plans to let loose the young guns, and that was his plans all along.
That's what I've been saying and yet people are rating our transfer 7/10, our fans really don't get how tough our opponents are.

The fact that we took no risk to sign Sterling is a win for me. Whatever your thoughts on the player, we can test/utilize him throughout the campaign and see if he fits. If no, it's just a loan (who's wages are subsidized); and if it does, we buy him or extend the loan.
This won't not have happened if Chelsea weren't so keen on offloading him.

If i understood Fabrizio correctly, it wasnt just the fee that was the issue, it was primarily the wages Osimhen wanted, as he wanted a match or raise of his current Napoli one. There was no way Arsenal was going to give him that.

Man City's approach in their 3 games has been played with high tempo and urgency from defense to attack with one touch football. Our own approach has been somewhat sluggish with too many touches before passing by several players. Our personnel in certain positions and the pattern of play is not the best we can muster at all in our 3 games so far. That's my observation.

We’re a Havertz/Rice/Odegaad injury away from a crisis. This transfer has weakened us depth wise, I’m tired of fans glossing everything with deluded positivity. Not one Arsenal fan at the beginning of the transfer window wanted Sterling and now we’re settling for it as it’s the scraps Edu and co has given us. If we don’t start winning this year we’re going to start losing our star players and picked off from other clubs like they did with Fabregas, Van Persie, Nasri days. Real Madrid are already hovering over Saliba, and if it happens still the Kroenke’s will get away with it 🤷🏽♂️

@@nuudelz3711 During the whole tenure of the Kroenke ownership period, baring maybe last season can you name of a transfer window showing serious intent on winning the title? It’s all good what they’re doing over at the other franchises. They’ve shown more intent of signings and spending whilst we’re relying on a “self sustaining model”. Not to mention the whole catalog of errors across the board, Ramsdale was a £70 million asset according to transfermarket on the back of a PFA winning season. Should have sold him after that if he intended of dropping him for Raya. Now he’s gone for peanuts, not to mention the higher wages for players we never really used like Reiss, Viera etc. it’s all frustrating because the only striker we’ve signed is Jesus which never replaced Auba’s finishing, we went for Havertz with as high wages and 2nd highest fee only to solve only a some of the issues, missed out on a £35 million Kudus, gone for Viera instead of a £40million Maddison, didn’t go for a cheaper Isak. We say we need Champions League to attract the best players but baring Rice, what elite signing have we gone where we got the Ozil or Alexis feeling of “Wow Arsenal really mean business?” When the last time have we seen Stan anyway involved in Arsenal?

I wish you luck with the Sterling optimism. I watched him closely since moving to Chelsea and I've come to the conclusion that he has deteriorated considerably. I remember him at Liverpool. I remember him at City. He has since been dropped from the England squad. Rejected by Chelsea now. He might give you 2 good games for the season. I'm not expecting anymore than that. Yes, he has something to prove at Arsenal. I think he's done as a high quality footballer. His decision-making has gone, his tracking back has been in question since arriving at Chelsea.

We have changed from transitional football to possession based football. This does not suit Martinelli. He will do much worse this season as well. Unfortunately he needs to be playing in a counterattacking team or transitional team.

Guys I have a crazy idea to replace Rice for the Tottenham match. From the academy, mr Lewis-Skelly. It will be a big statement from Arteta and his trust in his youth players but also a big bet.
