Probably should use a flat bottom bit to clean the inside bottom up instead of a cove bit. It's gonna be almost impossible to sand out the imperfections without tedious hours. If I was gonna make tons of these, I'd make a sanding jig probably. A flat disc with sandpaper glued to the top on a small platform to raise it up off the table.

What was the finish you used? I see the bottle of shellac but that's quite flammable, even when dried.

There's a bottle of shellac atop his workbench, but Scott Hargraves mentioned that shellac is flammable. Maybe some oil? Tung? Linseed? I don't know.
