    -23 dB LUFS is the European EBU R128 standard, while -24 dB LKFS is the ITU BS.1770-3 standard and ATSC A/85 standard in the states. I just purched this unit last week. Tomorrow I will set it alongside the RTW (and the LKFS meter on a Calrec) for a comparison.

    Awesome video. Does this u it ship with the XLR to BNC adapter, or was that purchased separately?

    I'm still a bit confused on how the DB15 works here for connecting to an audio interface using in 5.1. Does each bnc holds 6 channels? of youll need 3 spdifs input in your audio interface?

    I'm thinking of purchasing the Tc Clarity M, but I wanted it to analyze the music coming out of the AD and not via USB with the Plugin, is it possible to do it with an apollo twin x? I only have an optical In or line out, is it possible to configure?

    • @djp_video
      @djp_video  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Clarity M Stereo has an optical input you could use.

    Thank you so much for all you help. Would a black magic SDI-TO-AUDIO work with this as well? If so what type of cable is needed a jack to _ _ ?? to connect to my clarity. Sorry for the lots of questions

    • @djp_video
      @djp_video  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. But they’re generally less useful so I default to recommending the SDI to HDMI converter

      You still need an adapter, as I don't believe the Clarity comes with a TRS (1/4") connection

    Whats the CPU hit? Does it run on the GPU processing? For instance I have and AMD 3900X(12core) and DP meter uses 2% per core, Per instance.

    • @djp_video
      @djp_video  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't tried it that way. But it isn't going to be very high -- all of the processing is done in the Clarity unit itself.

    Hello, I’m having an issue where the meter is displaying incorrect levels(way lower than the actual levels). What could be the problem? It seems to have a yellow vertical line across the screen too. Could it be a hardware issue?

    • @djp_video
      @djp_video  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The level issue could be an offset set somewhere. The yellow line sounds like a hardware issue.

      I intentionally left that out. The price has been all over the map. The Stereo version normally sells for under $300, but it seems to be hovering closer to $380 right now. The surround version is usually about $100 more.

      Agreed, our age is a spatial tyranny having to work from our houses knowing that swathes of office complexes are standing around the place totally void of occupants. Imagine engineering music with a penthouse view of the bright lights of the big cities 😌
