Loved how Sonny called AJ "PJ" 🤣🤣 Sean Kanan will always be AJ for me. Never cared for Billy Warlock's AJ. Plus Sean and Steve really looked like brothers.
OMG, they were so young and cute! A.J. was a little shit though. But I love when he came back a few years ago. So sad that they didn't keep him on board.

@mwerner1020 I think it depends on the real life thing. Jason was very passionate with Keesha, but Steve Burton wasn't married then. He said years ago once he got hitched he wanted to tone down the sex scenes with his on screen partners. Maurice Benard has never kissed anybody the way he did with VMG. EVER! And he was married. That just goes to show you the power of Brenda and Sonny.

@lakeside321 - he definitely didn't treat Karen as a "lady," and no way in hell would Sonny ever allowed Brenda to strip let alone encourage it. He would have went ballistic if he ever saw Brenda up on stage taking off her clothes for other men. Probably still would. I think he will always consider Brenda as his.
I was nine when i first stared watching. It was about 15 years ago. I remember watching this scene sonny and brenda are still my favorite. My mother disapproved of me watching so young though.

Sonny was more in love with himself than he was with Brenda. That's why she was psychologically traumatized by him.
I think it was more so he didn't know how to love..as a child he had no one but his mother to show love and express it. She was in love with a man that beat her..so that was his visual experience to what love looks like. He knew it was wrong but how to you express love when you don't know what it looks like..

Who was Sonny's Main Woman before he met Brenda? They're talking about Karen, who was that? Was she his old lady or just some chick he dated?
Karen was a friend of Robin and Brenda. Karen and Jagger were the "it" couple...she became a stripper in Sonny's club and they started dating (I guess you can call it that) She had some serious issues from her childhood she was coping with. She was also addicted to pills which everyone blamed Sonny for as well as her stripping..

@BehindTheHarleyShop - They (GH) didn't really go into the Sonny and Karen story THAT deeply. Sonny came on the scene in 93' and him and Karen supposedly were dating.. but like I said, they didn't get too into their story. I don't even remember them dating.
I supposed they dated at one point. I think he thought there was something special with her, but she loved a guy named Jaggar, which is the guy Brenda liked.. Sonny and Brenda didn't meet too much earlier than this first date.
