I get what you're saying but most of the money he gives back doesn't belong to corporations. It's his. He uses the money he earns from the channel to bankroll most of give backs. Sometimes he'll do a sponsored vid (like this one) but those are rare.

I can never get over the fact that he’s walking around the restaurants handing out money telling people to tip well, and he still gets sour faced members of staff wanting to kick him out for recording.
Now imagine this. One of the people in the restaurant complain to the manager that someone was filming them. The manager finds out who was on duty that day and fires the guy. The staff have rules to follow, and no amount of "comments on TH-cam" will get them their job back if they lose it. So don't blame staff for just doing what they're told.
Who would be worried about getting fired at chili's? I get that's his job but if I was the owner I'd love them to film. Hand everyone $100 may make them spend more there
