This video made me dream of having a delay pedal when I was still in college. 15 years later I finally got one, in a multi-fx unit (NUX MG30). And now I can finally do this effect, the dotted eight delay with tap tempo...and yes I still play at church until now. Praise God.
With a Gretsch guitar, it’s like picking on an acoustic guitar, in that you have to play much harder than you would with a Fender or a Gibson. You really have to get after it as a player on a Gretsch, or the sound just isn’t going to be there.

If anyone’s wondering, Mode 9 on the BOSS DD5 is dotted eighth.
Thank you for sharing this video...!!!
Esse timbre da palhetada é ótimo, qual o segredo?
(Não estou falando do delay)
Provavelmente é a palheta porosa mais o cap da ponte.
