+Akeeyuki Yes wonderful.... He has such a great potential for James Bond.. I loved Sam Smith (love this kind of male voice) song... but it is NOT AT ALL a Bond song... it doesn't fit at all. It was not easy to beat Adele on that one! :) And the Spectre movie.. even though full of action... was disapointing.. was lacking the dept we are entitled to have... especially after Skyfall. So many questions... unanswered.
I spoke to him on Facebook once and told him that I grew up listening to his music with my dad. my dad passed away last April, but Jamie’s music brings back great memories with my Father ❤
Most very good musicians are not very famous... good quality usually hides modestly in the background... you gotta look for it like pearls and diamonds ;)
jammie cullum has a raw talent in creating such a good music especially contemporery jazz but sometimes i heard some tracks from 4 albums previously, have really difficult attraction for being 'easy listening song' and enter into the pop industry ... well he deserve to be nominated as best singer or breakthrough act, but to be complete singer, he needs a 'killer song' like what john newman has made as newcomer with love me again... mind trick is good one..
The staccato beat is redolent of a Bond theme. "The Edge of Something" would be a great name for a Bond movie too! James is so under-rated. I think he's a fantastic musician with the most intoxicating voice!

This is my go to song. If someone had never heard a song of Jamie's, this would be my pick for their first listen. I get frisson every single time. Especially at 3:30. Singing this song is cathartic, and I can only imagine the joy he felt when he wrote it.
I miss the jazz... I love Jamie. I have for a few years. The new album is a new direction for him that I never thought he would go in: Pop. Like real pop. I still love him. I just miss the jazz.
The club at the end of the video is Jamboree at Limehouse - one of my favourite music venues in London. It is in financial trouble so please visit it to support a wonderful, creative space, loved by local musicians and is a great night out.
The man is a monster talent but without the attitude. Used to dislike Jazz... this chap bridged the gap and now I am chock full of jazz-love. Top geezer.
I heard of him for the first time about 10 years ago... I developed a crush on Jamie and now that I see him again, that crush is back. I really missed his music.
Jesus Christ, what a song, what a performance! He was born to do this, this voice and personality can't be wasted. And the trick with acoustic and studio sound...amazing job, that I can tell you.
JAMIE !!!!! this here is what I needed tonight , glad I bumped into this track , Jamie your music is so fresh, 21st century kid and gran turino bliss man - this track though a gift in the nick of time just when I was starting to double think my decisions of lately , I wont now , not after hearing this track , I like a lot of other people who don't know it yet are in fact on the edge of something , god willing its miraculous - patience though while I await its arrival - love the sound man , love love love that sound you have, holla to all the Jamie Cullum fans around the world ! peace
Jamie Cullum, a British pianist, singer, musicians since i think he started on 2002 or earlier. Yes, he is brilliant, his songs are all good, should try Google or wiki it too :)
Don't like much of the modern music. But love this. This is special. loved it first time I heard it. never tire of hearing this upbeat gem. Inspiring. Well done Jamie !!!!!!!!!
This tune... Not only is it 'GOOD' it is meaning full... And inspirational and sends a shiver down my spine... I just love it and I'm buying it his and its going to be stuck on replay. That's as simple as it is for such a talented tune. End of.
My vocal jazz group used this as one of our songs in our set that won our state wide competition this past weekend. It truly is an amazing piece of music that gives me goosebumps just thinking about. Just beautiful.
Funny how when you at the gym and you hear/ see a video and it just sticks in your mind - just what this did this morning at 6:20 am, cracking little tune!
love the video! Can't wait to see Jamie live again - he's amazing. One giveaway that it isn't quite as spontaneous as it looks - everyone would have cell phone cameras out if it was 'live'). :)
Love the covent garden antiques market footage I remember it so well stalling out and couple of the dealers on camera good times bobby at 1:07 great guy hope he's seen this
Jamie cullum's first real album came out in 2001 and its a great album. Every album since then has been awesome. He is one of the worlds best jazz musicians ATM and he has a great voice. Other than that he gives awesome concerts where he often bangs on the piano and stands dancing on the piano og just jumps around a lot and so.. Great fun :)
The best James Bond theme that never was😢
Bu klibe bayılıyorum, hâlâ. Bizim dayıların olduğu sahnelere ise hâlâ çok gülüyorum. Yıl 2022
Jamie should sing the next Bond Song!!!!!
For sure a better voice than Sam smith, fits the bond brief far better too in terms of his voice
+Akeeyuki Yes wonderful.... He has such a great potential for James Bond.. I loved Sam Smith (love this kind of male voice) song... but it is NOT AT ALL a Bond song... it doesn't fit at all. +Akeeyuki You read my mind.
Akeeyuki, that would be amazing. He would blow it out of the water!
Akeeyuki fun fact, he wrote this song to be a bond theme
I can't be the only on who thinks this sounds like a James Bond tune
I spoke to him on Facebook once and told him that I grew up listening to his music with my dad.
my dad passed away last April, but Jamie’s music brings back great memories with my Father ❤
I've emailed Barbara Broccoli for you. She should definitely use you for the next Bond film.....!
This should’ve been a hit across the pond
Cant get enough of the Turkish men's involuntary dancing 🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺❤
No no no no no... this DESERVES more views. This is British musical talent at its best. Such great music to lose yourself in.
Mrs Broccoli has missed a trick here. Film title and song all in one. Still time to get the song thrown in the new JB film somewhere.Brilliant.
Why isn't he more famous!?
because Simon Cowell is pumping out sub-mediocrity at an industrial level and everyone's swallowing it up!
Most very good musicians are not very famous... good quality usually hides modestly in the background... you gotta look for it like pearls and diamonds ;)

porque jamie no es comercial, no es un producto, él es jamie el mejor
Good question.. seems the jazz festival circuits know him, but he is either someone people know about or need to know about. He's a true talent.
Most underrated musician of all time
Only underrated If you haven’t heard him 😏
@ToniBoordane true 😃
Our local radio station brought us here.
Absolutely brilliant fantastic ✝️
A modest man with exceptional talent.
jamie cullum and john newman would make a great concert.
A Bond song with out the Film, what a superb song.
Love Jamie Cullum!! Back in 2004 I would rock my baby to sleep with his music! Now she's 18 and loves his music ❤😂
The staccato beat is redolent of a Bond theme. "The Edge of Something" would be a great name for a Bond movie too! James is so under-rated. I think he's a fantastic musician with the most intoxicating voice!
Heard this in a mall and HAD to find it! Great work!
I can't believe he is coming to Portugal and I wont be able to see him.
*Lyrics*
I've got some ways of forgetting now
What you're finding out, what you're finding out
I've got some ways of believing now
What you're leaving out, what you're leaving out
So take a reach down inside your soul
What you gonna find, what you gonna find
And it's so deep down inside your soul
What you leave behind, what you leave behind
I can hear it calling
Can't you tell?
I'm on the edge of something
So I just keep running every time
I lose my head
I'm on the edge of something
So I just keep falling every time
I lose my head
Are there some secrets embedded down
In the frozen ground, in the frozen ground
Under a cold moon and a fractured sky
There's a universe there behind those eyes
You're gonna make good on promises
That you know you could, that you know you could
Cause no one here worships suddenness
Though you wish they would, though you wish they would
I can hear it calling
Can't you tell?
I'm on the edge of something
So I just keep running every time
I lose my head
I'm on the edge of something
So I just keep falling every time
I lose my head
I don't need a vision I'm just waiting on collisions of the brain and the heart
I'm patient for decisions and some stormy revelations I can claim from the start
I'm kicking up a storm
In the valley I was born
I can hear the tower ring
Out here on the edge of something
I'm on the edge of something
So I just keep running every time
I lose my head
I'm on the edge of something
So I just keep falling every time
I lose my head

@@charisjoyce I can still remember the moment i first heard it
I feel the goosebumps 😂
Was at the restaurant when I heard this song. Didn't know who sung it so I had my lady google it.. Really feeling this song..
I love his style of Pop though. He still had his own way of composing a song, and there's still a little sense of Jazz in his new album. :D
My favorite ever...
Amcalar da ne güzel kıvırmış. Çayımızı da içmiş, o artık bizden biri.
I miss the jazz... I love Jamie. I have for a few years. The new album is a new direction for him that I never thought he would go in: Pop. Like real pop. I still love him. I just miss the jazz.
I'll SEE YOU ON SUNDAY, JAMIE!!!!

I love the way the sound varies between studio record and non-mixed pure Jamie voice. =)

Best lyrics/music compilation in my 'humble' opinion for at least 10 years x
