Trophies should be earned.(Kinda like defeating the Atma weapons in final fantasy 7 for the 1st time. Only that kind of trophy won't go on a shelf. Supirium will:)
Combined mode is obviously gorgeous but making all the Arialbots the same monochrome silver was certainly... *a* choice. I don't know about anyone else but I can't tell 4/5 of these guys apart. Silverbolt stands out, partially due to his altmode, and partially because he's the only member of the team who doesn't have the same "cocky hotshot" personality, but then his name is probably better associated with the beast wars character... Either way, fantastic work as always!
I agree, making them the same color wasn't a bad idea, but wasn't a good one either. But at the same time I kinda like it even though they could've probably done a slightly different color scheme to tell the four aerial bots apart. However I love their sleek design
F15 has 2 tail fins F-16 has 1 fin split in 2 directions Concorde (I think) is silverbolt Harrier has semi circular intakes F-4 has curved rectangular intakes You can tell the robot modes by the nose cones. F-16 has the largest and spikiest Silverbolt you know Harrier intakes are on the shoulders F-4 has a little blue on the body. I wish they had more red and more blue in their robot modes. Perhaps we can get a recolor unless the company doesn’t sell well.
100% for sure that they will release it with g1 colour, and i don't know , the project is mainly for a "movie" superion and a non "so real" colouring could ruin the figure, but let's see. Le'ts see also their devastator, if they go for the classic "green+purple" or will do again an "iron giant" wit different shape.
If you know combat jets, it's not difficult... but I agree that making them all the same set of colours with out any clear distinctions was a strange way to go especially in robot modes. Still the overall effect is undeniably stunning in all three modes but the pay off for the colour choice is the uniform gestalt mode. I especially appreciate the use of the tow trucks to make the feet... very nice.
Outstanding compilation and combination feature! I will say that, Q/C issues aside, I think the the extreme redesigns and transformation reworks highlight a prominent issue with the original aerial bots: they don't have terribly interesting designs. Take away all the elaborate linkages and panels and you're still just folding back the wings and pinning each character's nosecone on their back. I think an actual radical aerial bot redesign should be a re-imagining of their transformation that gives them more distinct silhouettes and uses jet parts more creatively.
I think since they are going with a G1 look. It's important to keep them close to what we got. Unless you want something like Devastator from the transformer movies... (No thanks. Not me)
Considering all the combiners u have collected, ever considered putting them side by side in a widespread of size comparison and insane detail and epicness?
Surprised there was nothing shown of the weapons? From what I saw in another video for Silverbolt's held weapon, thought it transformed in some way, likely for the combined mode.
I avoided that bullet after reading a lot of complains: a toy must be fun to handle... I decided to go for the FansToys version to diplay in bot mode with my combined Zeta Toys' Superion.
Better buy three sets of this. One set for robot mode, one set for alt. mode, and the last one for Superion, the combined mode. I cannot imagine transforming these from robot to plane to robot again and vice versa. Hahahaaa.... Of course, there's always a question of budget and worthiness.
Found out what you missed on the weapons. Apparently, the smaller of silverbolt's two weapons splits in two. One of the two folds up into a rear crotch attachment, while the other half combines with his armgun to create Encourager's gun. I do not know for sure what the heel pistons do, but I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow combined with weapons from the other four, just at a guess.

It was easy enough to use a screw (with a proper pilot hole drilled out) to lock the joint in combined mode. Bit of a dead-end fix, though. I just got replacement parts in the mail so we'll see how that goes.
@@peolesdru can you let us know how it went? The whole exchange proces, etc? Maybe a idea for a new video to show where was the problem and how to solve it(exchange part full process?)
Quick question. I heard the quality of the product are not very good. Some parts like the joint of the arm on DST-03 (which is the joint of the leg on Superion) can fall off after a few months or so. Does this happen to your DST-003 or the whole combiner?
The limb that is the left arm of the robot and turns into one of the combiner legs broke on mine. It held up through the whole original torso-bot shoot but I had to go back through all three modes to do the big group shots for the last video. It went back to plane mode, went to robot mode and then the joint gave out on the way back to torso. I drilled a pilot hole diagonally through the joint and drove a big screw into it to hold it together for the big combination sequence. ShowZ got me replacement parts and they will arrive tomorrow. Not sure if they replaced enough of the joint for me to be able to fix my destructive repair job, but I will know tomorrow.
But other than that one notorious joint, I had zero other issues with any of them. Each of the hip joints is a sort of double ratchet and I think it binds and suddenly the force you're applying is too much for the plastic.
@@peolesdru thanks for the replies. I think I will disassemble the parts of arm in DST-03 then make new parts with 3D printing (stronger and thicker plastic). Or even make the die-cast for those part so they will never be broken again
