I dont mind losing at all. So following the same survivor the whole game to learn to be a better killer and survivor in chases is something I dont mind.
I played DBD for 5 years since 2016 up to 2021. After I hit 4000 hours, I've started to play it barely, because I found it to be boring. But recently I thought about playing it again and I want to try, although my movement is pretty bad after all these years. I find this guide pretty mind refreshing, thanks for it!
So I have 150 hours of gameplay plus and find sometimes games depend on luck as well! Also whenever I’m hooked first I feel like I get tunnelled 😢but it isn’t easy to do it just takes pratice and practice, getting camera angles right, fast vaults sorted, looping without getting stuck lol etc etc takes awhile and I’m still learning
This video is very encouraging and at the same time is kinda sad. It's encouraging to know what you can achieve in this game, but also it's disheartening to know that to get there you'll have to invest hours and days and months. And while you practice you're going to lose and lose and lose and give points to killers that don't deserve them. I think that's the worst part.
You think that’s a bad thing? I think it’s actually great, it doesn’t matter how good you are, you’ll get caught by the killer eventually, the only thing you really need to worry about is not dying in 2 seconds which is pretty easy to accomplish with some knowledge and practice
are you sped, if you’re practicing it has to be assumed that your aren’t that good yet so how does the killer that slam you for not improving "not deserve them"?
I love your videos, explains everything really well. One thing that gets overwhelming though is the long sentences you put to read while you're talking. I end up having to watch your videos multiple times just to get the information.
i think what most survivors really struggle with is strategy. who should unhook when and why. if you take chase, where should you lead the killer. how to actually counter tunneling or what to do if someone is getting camped. teach about hook trades and gen efficiency. when to split up and do solo gens or which gens should be doubled because they may be at an important strategical point on the map. and most survivors struggle with even the most basic things like knowing not to open chests and cleansing random empty totems. this kind of stuff is even more important than knowing how to loop the killer.
I solo q, so it’s all about the indicators over people’s names, those symbols basically dictate how I play. And I play feng min with a health kit. So I can constantly do gens and heal other players or trade hooks with them if they are getting face-camped, and I will say since restarting from 0, I have noticed a lot of newer players are far better than new players were years ago. The only thing I wish they would do is use technician while learning skill checks cause it sucks when you are 80% on a center gen and a level 0 bill comes over and pops it and gets everyone spotted immediately. But that’s the game lol and I can’t wait to p3 feng so I can get self heal on Claudette since people get so scared of terror radius and never finish healing you it seems like.
I’m fasho average. I would say I look behind too much without knowing what’s in front. And that’s why I get caught up on things. Plus I be looping killers like pros in the lower mmr. The higher mmr when I reach iridescent 4 or 3, I be lookin like a straight noob. Great video, def gotta keep some basic principles in mind and keep on rotating my camera back and forth. I’m also a ps player
I'm jealous you get good killers bcs their very fun to verse, I can consistently get rank 1 and for some reason I get mid-bad killers and rarely get good killers
I never let survivors make me play their way. Whenever I see tbags and them asking for chase I always drop it and go for another. As killer I make them play with my rules lol
People don't understand this concept. Regardless of how good or bad either player is. The survivors are forced to play the killers rules, that's the killers true strength.
I deleted my original comment because your point on checkspots were much more helpful than my minor criticism of Freddie being a noob xD Imma go into the game with this knowledge now and instantly forget it when Im being chased because I panic xD
Hi Noci, what Controller do you can recommend for playing on PC? I use a XBox x/s Controller and it feels like I moving very slowly... Does an other controller perform better? LG Rick
Basically if you are under 200 Hrs player and can manage to pallet stun a killer twice in 1 chase, they give up basically every time. On the other hand, if you are an under 200 hrs player, if you go on the hook be prepared to be hard face-camped basically every time.
15:53 How did you know you couldn't loop that jungle gym with the broken pallet there anymore? If i was in that situation, i would've kept looping that jungle gym but probably died i assume then? Is it because some jungle gyms become obsolete after the pallet breaks or is it all jungle gyms? I think i might be confusing them with tiles because tiles can be looped without pallet, right?
Good video btw it’s a great game and I want to be a really good survivor cause I think it’s awesome seeing people pull off cool stuff like that if people are getting mad for looking behind you 😂 they should learn how to do it more
Ive never played this game and never have a interest on it, and yet your title still draw me in, and i love your talking, it is fun to just hear you talking and see the gameplay, thanks for the effort!
I appreciate the tips it’s just that alot of the times the killer is alot smarter than you content creators show (moonwalking, flashing their stain a different way to throw you off) make more vids and tips on how to counter this
Checkspots and knowing when to move away from a tile are how you counter killers that mind game a lot. For example if you notice the killer moonwalking you absolutely NEED to be positioning yourself on a loop where you can react to their movement quickly and optimally. Also some tiles can't be played safely without predropping the pallet so it pays to know which tiles are safe enough to play pallet up.

I didn’t think you explained why your style of looking behind you works, because it doesn’t look like it does at all. You switch checking your directions every 0.25 seconds. I highly doubt that is enough time to get enough information from the check. If it was, then there is no reason to check both sides too much. Now maybe this works better for console players because the movement is so fluid, but PC players can only move so many directions, thus checking behind so often kills movement efficiency. Checking behind is important, but not nearly as necessary as you claim, especially if you have good headphones
Looking behind you is one of the most important things to do as a survivor wym. Your eyes are much more consistent than your ears when it comes to quick mindgames.
Looking behind is absolutely important. If you play without looking behind you almost always; you will get hit. Headphones are not enough by long shot.
