Playing as Both Killer and Survivor gives me a great perspective on this and makes it very easy to mindgame both killers and survivors when I'm looping
As a true beginner on DBD, your video is a game changer for me. I’ve been blindly routing through tiles without knowing the optimal directions to take. Thank you so much for your insight!
Not going to do you any good because survivor side is completely overpowered unless you're playing nurse of blight you can try as hard as you want with b tier a tier killers and if you're really good you might just get 1 or2 kills most of the time everybody's just going to escape with you having some good hooks when you get to high MMR with a b or a tier killer or less
@@jacobblankenship374 assuming you don't get cowshed or garden of joy every game, this just isn't true. I play a lot of trapper and it is possible to get 4ks consistently, but yeah I do get destroyed on survivor sided maps like eyrie of crows.
@@jacobblankenship374 I destroy everyone with freddy, and everyone says he’s low tier. Even p100 squads have trouble. I’ve found its more map dependent for most killers once you reach a certain skill level.
@@deanoxicate Watching again and playing I'm getting even better and I figured out how to chain loops together, using windows to get to a new loop and then if u have distance even go further to another loop and circle your way back 💀
As a killer main (and primarily a pyramid head main) this is an interesting watch. Like ive never played survivor..but thank you for the info :) i am gonna try it soon Edit: the reason i bring up PH is because he is my strongest anti-loop personally
So generally, it’s a good idea to loop around a tile, drop the pallet/vault the window, and make your getaway. If you have enough distance from the killer, skip the next pallet/tile and go to the pallet/tile after it. Then you can later bounce back to the pallet you skipped and it won’t be a dead zone with no pallets later in the match
If you get a killer to double back that can be your opportunity to leave the tile. It takes a bit of setup tho because the killer needs to think you're going to path normally. Also you wanna make sure there are connecting tiles where you're going. Killers can also counter this by baiting you into leaving a tile and going to a weaker or dead zone.
@@84SuperBeast yeah agreed! It’s like you have to take the correct pathing around a tile a few times so they nearly expect you to go that way when in actual fact you’re sneaking out to a different tile!
I understand the methods in theory, but in practice there's 75% chance something goes wrong with how effective I am with it (be it Killer's Power, bs collision, I over think or under think, controller dif)
@deanoxicate a year late but also another thing is with tricksters knives the techniques wouldn't work. I did enjoy the video that's just a killer specific nitpick haha
In the first killer shack moon walk hit, that’s a bad example. You clearly clearly see the red stain go away way before you even vaulted and you still vaulted. That’s not a moonwalk issue.

Yes exactly! I think playing both sides gives you the best idea of how to out smart the side you’re going against! ❤️

Me a killer main reverse engineering this information
Hahaha have fun with it 😂
Hey it's been six months any info for us fellow killers any information on the reverse engineering this may be for each killer separately as well

Thanks for the Video, i hope i will get better by looping because Survivors can be so toxic when you can not loop the Killer for a while
Ah I know! Just try not let the game get to you! Whatever happens in game is in game. Be nice in post game chat and all that ☺️☺️
I'm late but I just got into dead by daylight and this video helped me start looping killers for all 5 gens (until I got to higher mmr lol)
Glad I could help in someday ☺️☺️☺️

When is it a good idea to leave these loops to make more distance and eventually make the killer lose sight of you?

thats prolly what makes the game fun and not the same mindless route every time
I'll send this to my friend who's new in the game but i keep wondering why the killer example is Trickster since he's slightly slower?
Honestly didn’t think about that when I recorded! Mild mess up 😂

100% chance of Basement at K-Shack on Shelter Woods. Lol. 😂
True that hahaha
Sneaky doing this as a killer that is slower than usual
Something I totally overlooked in all honesty. Massive silly mistake but same rules apply
you should have used a 4.6 killer to showcase instead of a 4.4
True! Logic still applies though!

Lol survivor players truly talentless lossers I would actually start playing the game again if they balance it
It’s funny, I’d love to see your survivor skills when you think an asymmetric game can be balanced 😂😂
