So basically Tana was a whole KAREN during the tour and is trying to paint herself as the victim? Gotta love Cynthia called Tana out for her poor etiquette. Why book a dang tour with a tour guide if you going to be hungover, sleeping and with headphones on knowing that the guide is going to talk?
She's a private tour guide, if you guests are obviously tired, you can just not talk. All you need to do is to take them around the vineyard, easiest job ever. Not the mention the tour guide was straight up insulting them the entire time, even AFTER the tour ended. Learn the whole story before you comment
@@deefarhei3617I mean no disrespect commenting on this, but when you book a tour with a tour guide (at least in Europe and especially in France), it is expected of you to be fully awake and attentive to what's happening and what your guide is saying. It's very common practice for a tour guide to get your attention if they see you wander off or not listening because sometimes, they say pretty important things (safety and all) so you gotta listen. If she was that tired and hungover, she shouldn't have come. Like tell your friends it's not a good day and just sleep. Even if she wasn't aware of what kind of tour it was (not some party and drink wine tour as she expected I believe) she should have done some research to be prepared and know if she was gonna be able to handle it or not. Concerning the insulting bit that the tour guide did, I'm not on that part yet but if she did I agree that was not ok. But it certainly does not warrant a damn full naming in a podcast like damn.
So what's the point in her even being there if she isn't going to be doing her job? Tana could've just gone to a wine bar if all she wanted to do was drink. @@deefarhei3617
How entitled is Tana? That poor lady was literally just doing her job. I’ve been on a tour in Italy when I was dead tired and it was 3 hours long, but I never complained about the tour guide DOING THEIR JOB
I have to disagree with this one, all groups have their individual tour guides, she is their private tour guide, if your guests don't want to hear you talk, you can just..not talk. Anyone would be agitated if someone wakes you up every two minutes when you have a splitting headache and no sleep.
@@dayennemeijer3597 It is a private tour for their group. There were other groups with their own tour guides. Can you get your facts straight before dog-piling on someone? None of you even listened to this podcast did you?

It wasn't her who booked the wine tour, it was her friend. At last second the guide changed their tour to a different one without even notifying the friend who booked it...

No, the guide changed the tour because she thought they would "enjoy" it better than the one tour the friend had taken before. The tour they booked was one in which they would ride on a golf cart. Many of them did not dress appropriately to be walking around because that wasn't the type of tour they booked in the first place. 💀💀💀💀@@snailsoup9751
I think we also need to acknowledge that Brooke is just as bad as Tana. She was egging her on when she's absolutely obliterated Cynthia as if Tana was at any point in the right here. This is gross.
Also, the French are NOTORIOUS for hating Americans. They are blatantly rude to Americans because they don't have the appreciation for culture like the French. Exhibit A: Tana Mongeau
I feel so bad for the tour guide. Tana and her people are so rude and entitled. It wouldn’t have killed them to actually act like adults and read the itinerary before they went.
No, that's OBVIOUSLY not the reason! The reason is that Cynthia deliberately fked with Tana the whole time. BIG difference! I guarantee you this would not be a thing right now if it weren't for Cynthia fking with Tana over & over throughout the whole thing. See the situation for what it really is and not in a way that fits your narrative!!!
You didn't listen to her podcast. The tour guide was extremely passive aggressive and rude towards Tana even DAYS after the tour ended. So what if your guests aren't interested in the culture? You really dont have to force them to learn. Just let them take a nap on the train whats the big deal?
@@liliyurch2511 and waste your money? Let's be completely honest here, do any of your really go on wine tour to learn about history and science? NO, you go for the scenery and wine. @deefarhei3617 that’s Tana’s version of events tho. Everyone has their own perspective. I’d be really interested to know what other tour guides and groups thought of all this
Tana really thought she ate telling that story and it makes her look like the worst entitled little baby. And the fact everyone one else was dressed appropriately for a walking wine tour sounds like her group didn't do their research at all.
So? She didn't book the tour, her friends did it for her. Let's be honest, not everyone is actually that interested in wine science, all she wanted was to sit quietly and have some wine. Isn't it what a private tour guide is for?

She intentionally targeted Tana bc she didn't like that Tana wasn't interested in listening to her. Not to mention, Tana didn't sign up for this herself! And I guarantee you had she known what this tour was going to consist of, she would NOT have went. So instead of atleast letting her rest up on the train ride, Cynthia deliberately fucked with Tana over & over & over. Fuck Cynthia!!
Regardless of how unprepared Tana was... that's no excuse to DOXX someone. This tour guide did her job, and Tana should have researched more to be more prepared, regardless of who booked it. The way she screams “we paid you” really shows what she thinks of herself. ‘I got the big bucks here so you all do as I say’. This is how she keeps her friend group. The other girl in the podcast didn’t even try to correct her.
tana is paying her to NOT talk, easy money yet Cynthia can't accept that for whatever reason. There's always the next tour, yet this tour guide seems to crave confrontation.
... and this is exactly why me, as a blonde haired American woman that loves wearing makeup was treated like absolute 💩 in France when I visited. Tana and people like her are what makes the French, and Europeans in general, instantly judge Americans so harshly.
I guarantee you that if you are treated badly, it's not because you are bling and wear make up and heels. This!Like they agreed on the time and knew damn well, yet chose to get drunk the whole night before. If she wanted to do wine tasting, then she should've done that. Its very rare when a tour guide is absolutely quiet the whole way. Saying facts about the place is part of the TOUR. Also thinking the way Cynthia was telling them how they wine taste and thinking she was messing with her 🙄 like Im no expert, and even I know thats how they do it. She was also having a shared tour so ofcourse they were going to give some facts about wine, etc.
I don't understand why she is mad. This is what a tour is about. Understanding the history and the process. If she just wanted to get drunk, just got to the bar!
One of the things on my bucket list is to have a wine tour in either France or Italy, the last thing I would ever do is be rude to any of the staff or the venue. Just her disrespecting and doxing a woman owned business all because she was doing her job just disgusts me. Tana is no way helping the “Entitled American” stereotype.
Honestly this tour sounds AMAZING, I love history and traveling. I don't understand why people like Tana get to go to France and do things like THIS, when I'm sure the majority of us would just be excited to be there!!
The problem with influencers like Tana is she gets a lot of “yes” people or people agreeing with her bad behaviors. This has & will make someone repulsive, hence Tana 😂
I really feel sorry for Cynthia. She's an amazing tour guide and no wonder she's an award winning one. I know in first person how wine tours and education is because my mom has been a tour guide for over 30 years, not in Europe but in Chile, one of the biggest wine producers. Wine tours and wine tastings are not the same, what Tana expected is the latter but even like that, in wine tastings you can't be a drunkass and behave the way Tana does. Doesn't matter, tours and tastings are both educational instances. Tana is nothing but an ignorant and entitled brat, the complete stereotype of an American visiting other countries and the fact that she is so privileged to proudly say she's a dropout it's unbelievable to me. She is the type of people that shouldn't have a platform and I really hope Cynthia and the winery take action against her because she's purposely harming their business with her lies, rudeness and ignorance.

why would she go on a wine tour if she didnt expect the tour guide to want to talk to her? also, just because shes on a vineyard tour; that does not mean you're getting any wine. You need to visit their restaurant or liquor licensed area in order for them to begin serving you any samples of their wine. She sounds so poorly informed about something **she signed up to do**
As some one whose involved with some of the most collectible wines in the world and a certified sommelier this shit pissed me TF off. This is literally our passion, our job, our expertise. It can take a lifetime to master wine and even then you never fully stop learning. Wine isn’t just for getting drunk, it’s a beverage steeped with history and prestige. It’s important to know the history of the wineries, the families that have owned them for a 100+ years, the history of the grapes, the varietals, the soil structure, terroir, climate ect. Every single part plays a massive role in making wine. If you just want to party and get drunk go to a bar or Vegas. I lived on a 500 acre vineyard in Napa and we used to get people like this in our tasting rooms and it literally ruins all the employees days. I even know prestigious wineries that will black list you if you act like this or show up hungover and rude. One of my closest friends is a head winemaker for one of the most exclusive wineries in Napa and if you even show up late to your tasting they won’t let you in. Wine can be a cheap sugar filled drink that you get wasted on in college out of a box or it can be some of the most expensive liquids you’ll ever drink. Tana needs to stay in her trashy lane and stick to the clubs. And please stop making theses POS famous and wealthy.

Claps to Cynthia 🎉 even though she failed to get through to Tana. I feel her attempts at calling out Tana was 100% called for. As someone whose traveled to Europe and visited over 10 European countries - I can testify that they have such authenticity, class and respect for the arts. -1000 points for Tana ❤
You can tell she just expected to drink a bunch of wine all day. Girl, that says more about you than Cynthia.
Tana's acting like a child 🙄 this is why people think Americans are dumb, loud, bossy, and self-centered. Just cringy and classless. I feel so sad for Cynthia. She just wanted to share what she loved with others.
This is Hands down the grossest things I have ever. That is so beyond disrespectful. This woman’s reputation could have been ruined. I hope this comes back to really hurt Tana.
The grossest ever? Really?
I am pro-Cynthia. As explained several times in the video, the itinerary was spelled out in black and white. This expert in the wine industry, who prioritizes women, was doing her job. She is not a social media mogul, she actually works for a living and is good at it. Maybe we should feel sorry for Tana and her followers since they can't read their native language. Tana and crew give the phrase "Ugly American" a whole new meaning. Influencers...👎👎
I love how Tana even cannot pronounce the name of the wine company correctly, yet she feels entitled to drag the guide and her business. Though if I were the tour guide, I´d just leave her sleep after the first attempt to educate her, would respect her wanting to have time for herself, she´s the customer after all, I´d talk to the rest of the group that is interested.
Okay so what's wrong with the tour again? What did she expect? Drink wine and go? That's what restaurants do?
Honestly california wine tasting is like that they hand you a cup swish drink walk talk and get drunk
@@rachelg7041 but there's a clear rundown 😅
The issue was cut from this video to paint Tana in a negative light.. what actually happened was Cynthia repeatedly was insulting and harassing tana from the train ride until three days after the tour through texts… but that was entirely left out of this video for some reason
Girl I'm so confused. Tana is just describing a wine tour I'm so confused as to why they even wanted to do this seeing as she hated every normal aspect of what she paid for. I'm baffled.
Really frustrating that these kind of people are the ones given platforms and money to travel and do these kinds of things.
How dare you give me a wine tour on a wine tour? OUTRAGEOUS! 🤦♀️
Can’t buy class ! How embarrassing for her.
She’s new money. What do you expect?
Lol how embarrassing for you for not learning all the facts and just start hating.
@@deefarhei3617u can’t be serious 💀
@@jennifernichole7317they are. They’re in almost every negative comment basically defending Tana
@@deefarhei3617is that not literally what you’re doing? Or is your face just that far up Tana’s 🍑?
I can't imagine that not only she thinks her bahaviour was ok, but she managed to found someone who's nodding to everything she is saying
That's why you don't drop out of school. It educates you about manners and behaviour, not only literature, math etc.
Her co-host is so gross agreeing with every disgusting thing tana is saying
Exactly and it's blatantly obvious.
As an American that enjoys wine, I would give ANYTHING to go on that wine tour with Cynthia 😭 that would be a dream to learn about wine all day by intelligent women and I would also tell her that we don't claim Tana at all.
We have all been in a room that made is feel uncomfortable i feel so bad for cynthia i really hope loads of people go there now so she can give tours to people who will appreciate her ❤
why would she go on a wine tour if she didnt expect the tour guide to want to talk to her? also, just because shes on a vineyard tour; that does not mean you're getting any wine. You need to visit their restaurant or liquor licensed area in order for them to begin serving you any samples of their wine. She sounds so poorly informed about something **she signed up to do**
Cynthia needs to open a lawsuit for defamation and hold Tana for a liability
CYNTHIA OWNED HER ASS HAHAHAHA. Good job Cynthia!! 👏🏻👏🏻
Sounds like France to me 😂 wine tastings are 99% not to get drunk and party… It’s a craft. She sounds like she’s complaining that she didn’t get pineapple on her pizza in Italy 🥲
No that IS RUDE BEHAVIOR. I have been to Paris, France for 4 weeks.
They have etiquette there and Parisians can’t stand Americans because of THIS SPECIFIC BEHAVIOR.
I understand we all don’t act like this, but this is what they stereotype Americans as.
My husband and I love Paris and the best you can do is to not act LIKE THIS.
It just sounds like an average wine tour... idk what she was expecting? Did she not look at their website or whatever? Poor Cynthia bruh 😭 she didn't do anything wrong? Girl was just trying to do her job and got shit talked to 600k people.
Yes, like why go on a wine tour if you don't want to hear about wine? What was she thinking was going to happen there?
@only98girl Probably because she just wanted to drink and didn't want to actually learn about anything regarding the wine/etc. 🤷♀️
Thats where we are wrong... Tana DID research... She researched all the American's hated stereotypes and decided to be all of them 🤣🤣
I wouldn’t give her the credit for that, it just seems that being the entitled alcoholic classless american stereotype is the only natural born talent she possesses.
this is her fault for drinking all night before she had to be up at 8am. she's never going to stop acting like an entitled, belligerent toddler who can't accept any responsibility for her own actions.
Tana PAID for the tour, if she wants to put headphones in and ignore everyone. She paid! It's her tour! Supposedly a "fun" one at that. Cynthia should have let her leave too, she literally paid.
Exactly what I said!!! Like she paid you, if she decides to not listen that’s on her lmfao.
how is she nearly 30 & acts like she’s 17 still. she should be embarrassed
