My dad and two of my uncle's got me into Hockey. Between learning how to use a hockey stick to learning the rules while playing it on my original Nintendo (NES, Blades of Steel) and my Genesis (NHLPA Hockey '93), I also lived in a cul de sac with alot of kids my age who were really into Hockey, video games, junk food, heavy metal music, etc, etc. Good times
Same here in the Maritimes. We played ball hockey everyday and night. Whether we were 2 or 10 people. We invented a game called curb stone. Where you setup one net along the curb and play on the width of the street. Then put one goalie and a player or two, maybe a defenseman. Then the defence tries to hit the curb to switch teams and the offence just tries to score. CAR!, Game On! Oh the memories.
I made the Halifax Headstones and in NHL 2k4, ran multiple seasons with them. Dillon in ceneter, Carr and White were wingers, Gibson in net. Then i stocked the team with every player that was somehow involved in a death or was dead or just had a cool name... Knutsen, Deadmarsh, Moore....so many more that i can't remember
Yup- headstones first- then flashpoint. I sat beside hugh and the band at the renfrew inn back in the day. He's calmed down quite a bit- back then he was crazy.
I didn't even know these guys were Canadian!!! They went up a million notches in my favourite bands list!!!
Caught their show in Thunder Bay on Nov.22/2022 fucking awesome
Great actor and singer! Would love to meet him!

As much as I’ve always thought The Hip are Canada’s best band, I think I like these guys a little more…
Find me something more Canadian. I’ll wait.
Western CA and his oblivion. Tears Easterly focused. LOL. This guys is a clown. Typical Leafs fan. Commiserations for the next 35 years.
