I think you're wrong about the SSD's speed between the miniPC and Mac mini, the speed doesn't depend on the capacity, the miniPC use NVME M2 SSD Gen4, the Mac Mini has their SSD soldered into the mainboard but they cut off the NAND chip so the speed is slower, just like Macbook, this has been an issue since the M2 chip was released
I'd like to ask you a question. When you play the original body with the Geekom A8, didn't you get a lot of fever or something? And does the original body run smoothly with the basic system specifications of the Geekom A8?
Hi! if you’re asking about overheating, Geekom A8 manages its temperature well during use, but the fans does get a little bit louder while playing games, which is quite common for miniPCs. As for performance, it runs smoothly at 720p for games on the machine I tested. And It works well for basic tasks! Hope this helps 😃
