This set is freakin magic. The art can be looked at for a very long time. These cards and this set was so special when it first came out. To discover the overlap in the pictures, organically, was one of the most profound moments of my entire life. The beautiful reverse holo was mind blowing back then. And that palm tree symbol for the out of eighteen set. Come on. It’s epic. Japanese and English Awesome. Thanks for filming and sharing 🇺🇸
I used to have this. I got it at Walmart when it was released. Unfortunately my now ex-wife threw it away, along with my original Pokemon collection, when I was deployed in Iraq 2008-2009. She missed my master binder so all I have left of Southern islands is the Slowking card.
1. Thank you for your service, I have worked with vets for many years, and used to have a defense company ... 2. That's awful! But at least you have your master binder!
This is maybe my favorite Pokemon TCG item ever released (huge connection to this in my childhood). Thanks for sharing this, really brought back some good memories
SO glad you enjoyed it! I need a minty one for my own PC - it's such an incredible item and I wish I had kept some minty ones I had previously. thanks for watching!
Great video man! Out of curiosity, how do you find something like this? Were you looking specifically for it or did you just happen to come across it? Great find. Also nice seeing you at Austin Card Show today! Love the Japanese slabs you sold me. Awesome start to my collection
SO great seeing you man! Congratulations on your first slabs! Some amazing Japanese pickups with vending and carddass!!! The hidden prism especially, criminally cheap! So this one....I have a saved search set up on ebay, then was able to connect with the seller and learn they had several of them available and needed to sell them quickly. Like most things in life, it's just about networking and communicating!
The art in this set is timeless 👌🤩
💚💛❤️
Absolutely agree!!!
Great set! Never knew this existed! 💪🏼
Amazing to add to collection!
I’m so glad you know about it now! It’s so rad. Thanks for watching!
