Thank you for taking me along on your back country adventures! Sometimes I get overwhelmed with how much there is to learn identification of rocks, you make easier to understand what I’m looking at, your clients are lucky to have such a through look at there properties, Dan Brent
We have that exact same grey fine grain but very dense and hard to crush Rock at our claim as well in our mine dump. Same thing shiny all the way through it and absolutely packed with Galena and pyrite
We were doing exploration around an old mine. The ore was 60% copper. It was almost 100% chalcopyrite which had been enriched to chalcocite. Pretty cool to see
Awesome! I found a handful of rocks in my collection that I collected as a kid maybe 30 years ago that looks a lot like that great rock, some light quarts marbled through with awesome thick veins of gold and pyrite. I must have got it in Northern California likely around the sierras, and haven’t seen anything quite like it until this video.
There a mine closeby in Orphir Ontario that was 9oz /ton of Gold . Pretty sure it closed because other base metals were desired . Copper and uranium boom closeby . Plus Sudbury crater and the Kirkland lake / Timmins gold rush over took most interests . People NEED to explore this area now a days . ( Murray Fault ) Algoma District Ontario . Ect . 🇨🇦💚
We do that today as well. In the yukon for example they dont bother with any flowergold. They just lose it with the tailings. So once the bigger gold there is depleted people will be happy to discover a true fortune in neatly piled and cataloged tailing dumps :))
Time to have those core samples reassessed, I can practically guarantee that every sample that you had assessed 10 years ago or longer is going to come back a lot higher grade than it was then and that goes for any mine anywhere ! I get most of my order from the tailings of Old mines and they're being enriched as we speak! I crushed and processed 3 lb sample of sulfides and in return got a 4.4 g button!
It's so crazy bro that I find almost the same looking stuff! It's not as high grade as the stuff you find tho. I love your channel bro! I hope one day I can go on a Adventure with you guys!
First I'm going to say I watch most of your videos and have learned a good bit from them but there are a couple things that cheapen your content for me a little. Why do you rattle off percentages so much? 4% this, 6% that... it's almost like picking up an egg and saying, there's 4% cheeseburger and very little fine grained fry salt from the soap dispenser in the outer shell skin brain but it's 12% more onion ring than tater tots from the salad bar. Again I love your content but hit us with some real numbers afterwards. Maybe have a speculation video with the official results at the end?
It's to give a rough idea on what's in the sample based on the percentages of certian sulphides to give a rough idea of what would be in it elemental wise by visual or XRF examination. Assays take 3 months so it's not always feasible some people would like a rough estimate over nothing. Once you have assayed 50 of the same sample type you can pretty accurately guess what's in it based on what sulphides are in it.
Stocks are crashing bitcoin investment right now will be at every wise individuals list. In 2-3 years you'll be so ecstatic with the decision you made today.

Great samples, you guys! Thanks for the video as well! Cool!
The copper staining on that last sample is beautiful

What's old is new these days .. great sample
Excellent video!!
How would you get the gold out?
Wow, their "trash" is our "treasure". Thanks for the presentation.
We do that today as well.

where do you send your samples for assaying? I'm in California and need a place
1:59 What is the green gemmy material in the upper left corner of that rock? Cheers!
Awesome!

Nice ore to process to see how much it yields. Get a tones to process in check how much it yields mate.

My back too? His back. I mean 'he is back'.
The old timers are rolling in their graves wishing they had listened to you and J2...
Crush it and get an assay... Good Find
But it’s pointless without extracting it…. Who extracts it?
