My 9 year old autistic son has this he loves the wolf. His birthday this week i have the other wolf set for him to open. The first one this model you have had a broken tail right at the butt, i drilled in both ways cut the drill bit shank and glued the shank in as a pin. Been perfect ever since. And the second wolf perfect. In the package the right way. I love the figures. Joytoy Rocks.
Mine did that to the tail but right at the A$$. It was inserted into the packaging facing the wrong direction ie... left to right or right to left the wolf fits perfect one way, the other way shoves the tail against the packaging edge. The black wolf came the other direction and in mint shape.
Ah, I got the black variant last year, and central peg had a similar issue (front and back wolf easily split if not carefully managed!) but fortunately no other issues. Not much articulation but it is quite cool on the shelf - and hell of heavy weight: no empty plastic here! Despite all limits, JOYTOY has improved its manufacturing process quite a bit during the years. I am super-happy with mine, one of the most impressive presence on the shelf. Thanks for the review, it is always nice to see some of these older (and cool) figures popping up these days.
SMDH. That’s the one thing about JT. I had a few arrive damaged or missing parts. Specifically i had the Nemesis Dreadknight arrive without the battery cover. It was a pain to ship back.
Did you ask if they would send you one ? I had 2 Grey Knight terminator replacement legs sent to me from Joytoy for a broken ankle joint and a glued solid one. I always try to order direct for any kind of warranty issues. But alot are out of stock and we get forced to amazon.....
Sucks that your new figure arrived damaged. I had a similar thing happen to me. I ordered a Neca Jungle Predator and it arrived with a missing peg on the shoulder canon.
Got both colorways, but don't display the figures. I have the 2 wolf helmeted claw pack figures riding the big wolves. Would love to customize those included figures though.

Seriously? I think the shading and highlighting looks amazing... the black and browns are blended perfectly in my opinion.
