For anyone else who comes here it means it has too many nutrients especially nitrogen and that can kill other animals like fish
All I know is the power of one dude with a stick does alot of things
@@brizagranadeno and phosphorus, it causes algae blooms and phytoplankton blooms that whined up depleting the oxogen so the pond or swamp becomes a dead swamp or pond. Fresh water from a running water source would of prevented that but yes it needs draining and drying for a few years then start again.

It doesn't mean much of anything. 😂😂😂 basically means the water has to much alge (which can also smell bad) that blocks sunlight and can actually cut off oxygen to the animals living in said water.

Mosquito larvae actually need to frequently surface to breathe oxygen anyways so the water being eutrophicated means nothing to them. However, if the sludge is too thick to get through then they will "drown". So this probably had no mosquitoes but not for the reasons you think.

Biden has some plans that most of the country agree with. Taxing thise who make over $400,000/year and corporations to help pay for medicare and social security. Meducare and Social Security are like by over 70% of the population. Im sure everyone would hate it if they were paying into Social Security, then it was raken away and you got nothing for your money. They wont give a refund of monies paid if they shut it down.

It's eutrophicated swamp. It's been set up to be this way. It means it gets rich in nutrients and everything that we need in the ground. Draining it onto your land gives the ground more nutrients for growing things. 😊🙏

All are probably dead due to the plants taking over
About the only way I can see any fish living in this would be if it could take in atmospheric oxygen. Outside of a handful of species, it's most likely that everything has already died and as it decomposed, if it could, it would have taken more oxygen from the water, as well as the algae on the surface, especially when it dies off. Eutrophication is a huge problem, especially in backwaters and areas with heavy agricultural pollution.
Probably a few catfish and some turtles

Hello student here who did some in research in terms of eutriphication, one of the contributing factors is the excess nutrients found in the water. One of the reason behind the excess nutrients is probably the excessive use of fertilziers by the agricultual industry that contain nitrogen and phosphorous. Through surface runoff occuring on farms, it carries to nutrients of the fertilizers to rivers until reaching large bodies of water. And under the right amount of exposure to sunlight. Algal blooms start to occur, in this case, although it removes the algae. It will most likely grow back.
If only we could do the same in congress!

Absolutely not. A eutrophicated swamp has been cultivated to be so. It is full of nutrients that are needed in the ground. When they are ready they are drained onto the land to fill it with all those wonderful nutrients. 😊🙏

@@madasahatter5514 well if you haven't found out yet, eutrophication is the addition of excess nutrients to a standing body of water. It's usually the result of excess nitrogen in runoff from fertilized land, usually farms, getting into a water body, which promotes the growth of algae in it. It's bad because the rapid growth of algae covers the surface of the water, not allowing plants in the littoral zones of the water to photosynthesize. This reduces oxygen production in the water and also reduces the success rates of predators in the water, causing animals to die on top of the plants that have already died in the water. This increase in dead biomass in the water promotes bacterial growth and increases the demand for oxygen in the water while production reduces which ends up bringing anoxic conditions to the water which is a shitshow for pretty much everything involved. It messes up pH in the water and organisms start anoxically respiring, which produces toxins in the water. That ends up creating a dead zone.

That's not a bad idea. Just put in a fountain and the UV from the sun will kill the algae and other bacteria. This works great for swimming pools and retention ponds.

Draining a swamp is actually a pretty common practice, it helps with things like malaria. This was for a different reason though.
