Dog with Valley Fever

"Gypsy" is a young dog with Valley Fever. She contracted it in Arizona but wasn't receiving her medication from her former owner. She now lives with me in San Diego and is currently under medical care of Dr. Chamkaur Brar, D.V.M. at Country Pet Hospital in Alpine, California.
At this time there isn't a cure for this potentially deadly disease.

I just wanted to let those of you who watch his video that Gypsy passed away on August 10th, 2014. Very very sad for us. She was an amazing dog with so much life and so much heart. My father and brother did not give her the medication she needed when she first got Valley Fever....and although she appeared to have recovered from the outside....she ended up getting pancreatitis in August and after 8 days of IVs and even a plasma transfusion, her vitals started to fail. She was euthanized August 10th, 2014. I haven't been so sad since my mom died ten years ago. I wish we could find a cure for Valley Fever.....it is horrible.
