The smallest state (by pop'n) is WY which has 1 rep representing maybe 500,00. So that every American deserves the same representation. 1 rep per 500,000. This is not the case in high population states, where a Congresscritter might represent millions. States like CA, TX and NY- should have TWICE as many reps And thus Electoral votes- as they currently do. The Electoral College is IN OUR CONSTITUTION. Its not gonna be changed. The CAP ON CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVES IS NOT. Its just a law, and therefore much easier to be changed.

JUST GIVE THE DENSE STATES EQUAL REPS PER CAPITA. That would solve both the EC issue and the House issue. Because the House isn't fair either. And EC votes are based on how many representatives each state has in congress. But reps are NOT distributed proportionally to population. I dont mean gerrymandering. The smallest state (by pop'n) is WY which has 1 rep representing maybe 500,00. So that every American deserves the same representation. 1 rep per 500,000. This is not the case in high population states, where a Congresscritter might represent millions. States like CA, TX and NY- should have TWICE as many reps And thus Electoral votes- as they currently do.
The Electoral College is IN OUR CONSTITUTION. Its not gonna be changed. The CAP ON CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVES IS NOT. Its just a law, and therefore much easier to be changed.
