Oh it’s your new Wolverine! Nice😊 Hey just a safety tip - keep your InReach attached to your PFD not your boat, because many life threatening emergencies involve you being separated from your boat.
Good catch! Yep, loving the Wolverine and so glad I went with the self-bailer. Thanks also for the tip -- I actually did move it to my pfd after the first 10 minutes of it banging against my feet. I usually do keep it clipped to the pfd (for the reason you mentioned), but lately was thinking that might present a different issue of difficulty with reentry. Using the carabiner clip provided by Garmin is too loose, I think. Guess I need a different pfd that has more pockets. Cheers!
Outstanding video Dan. I love the boat as well. I miss my whitewater kayak. Excited to see the full video. Will be in those waters in a week wetting my fly line.
Did you paddle through Gibson also, or were you able to hitch a ride to the boat launch with one of Klicks guys? Maybe it isn't owned by Klick anymore. I love that country up there. Looks like it is growing back good after the fire.
Actually, this was just the first part of the trip. After this float, I hiked up the N fk to the Headquarters Creek packbridge, floated the N fk Sun back down, then hiked back out to the beginning at Benchmark (52 miles total). More vids to come showing the rest! The Klick ranch is now owned by the Wallis family (super nice folks) and is called the K Bar L Ranch. And yes, it's beautiful country!!
Always fun hearing ya giggle, squeal, whoop and holler on one of your float trips. Looking forward to more.
Very kind of you John. Some mind find it grating!! ;-)

Thanks so much and good fishing!! Was wishing I had brought my rig when I saw how clear the water was. ;-)
Now that looked like a lot of fun!
It was a blast! Whenever you're ready to give it a try . . . . 😉

@@ShastaBubba Wow that sounds like a great trip! I was wondering how you would get back to Benchmark! Thanks again for sharing!
Would be nice to see the total 52 mi that you did. Maybe next video
Thanks! That is the plan . . . although you may be the only one willing to watch! 😉
Dan I will watch a video like that with a big smile the whole time.
