Hate him all u want but his border policies secured the border enough to where it was the lowest numbers in 40 years. 1,500 a day a compared to 12,000 a day. 10 million illegals from all over is terrifying. The drugs coming across don't scare ke know where near the threat of terrorism. Because I absolutely agree with you when u say, people have a choice to drugs or not. But, I do not agree with flooding across illegally then expecting our govt to start handing out our tax dollars taking care of people who came illegally. They don't even help our homeless vets. It's just not right. MAYORKAS hasn't done a single thing to help secure it and he sits up there and gas lights and lies. Don't take responsibility. Won't acknowledge its a problem. That ridiculous bill they tried to pass calling it a border security bill didn't do anything to secure it. It was the decriminalization of illegal immigration. It stated what outrageous numbers were allowd to cross before they could potentially shut it down to gain control. That number was 12,000 a day. That's not a secure border. Then it also wanted to give them access to vote! Which is 100% against the constitution. U should never be allowd to enter a country illegally then get to choose who is the new president of that country. That's absurd. Something needs done because it's crippling cities. People have had enough

We had a 11 year decline in southern border crossing to the lowest point in 50 years prior to Trump and his polices. By 2019 Trumps policies doubled the number of people crossing the southern border to 977,000. He only saw a reduction for the first 9 months of 2020 due to covid, before it went back to a 20 year monthly high in October of 2020. It has remained a 20 year high and increasing ever since under Trumps failed policies and Title 42.

The Senate can (and in my view should) convict and remove Sec. Mayorkas from office. The House has taken action and impeached him, but the House has no authority to convict or remove.
