UPDATE/REVISION: In this video I say that each cell is 325mAh, but actually each cell is 1300mAh and they are wired in series to increase the output voltage. Please excuse the confusion, this hobby is all about learning! Thanks for the helpful users that brought this to my attention!

Now I feel smart catching that before going to the comments

@@neonoir__ yea i updated the subtitles, but most people don’t have subtitles turned on. Lessons learned. Hope you liked the video otherwise. 👍 If so please Like and if you’re feeling generous subs really help. Cheers!

Please correct me if I'm wrong but each cell of an 4s 1300mAh battery has 1300mAh of capacity. Not as mentioned at 4:50 that the damaged cell has 325mAh. If they are in parallel you would be right...

You are 100% correct, and I’ve been meaning to make a revision/comment to this, so thank you for reminding me!
Also thanks for watching, hope the video was helpful or at least entertaining. Cheers!

      4S 1300mah are 4 1300mah cells in series, that's right.
But when connected in paralel it would act like a single cell 5200mah, not 325mah.

Thanks, I just learn by doing really.
I made a DIY Li-Ion Battery video recently, and you may actually benefit from using Li-Ion batteries with some of your shoots. Basically you sacrifice power for capacity. (I.e. Less acceleration, but longer flight times). If you ever have questions let me know. Cheers!

    Talk about VOIDING A WARRANTY!!!!!!!!

Haha, warranty on LiPo batteries was never a thought to me. I’m sure whatever warranty that may have existed was long since expired.

Tip: discharged li-po batteries will never ignite, no matter what.

@@amzonfire6013 yes, good tip. That’s partially why these batteries didn’t “explode” or shoot flames.
If anyone watching this decides to work on batteries, always make sure they are discharged and that the cells are at the same voltage.
      Thanks for watching 👍🏼
