Just a quick tip, Scandinavia is Denmark, Norway and Sweden - round the Scandic mountains. Finland is a Nordic country but not Scandinavian. The Finnish language isn't related to the Scandinavian languages (Danish, Norwegian and Swedish) which come from old Norse. Finnish is a fabulous language but part of the Finno-Ugaric languages (which includes Finnish, Estonian, Hungarian and Mari and some Western Siberian languages)
Finland is beautiful and a great place to camp and hike. I think you might get a few small flying insects but the season for those is June/July. The schools go back in August so summer "ends" in by mid-August which felt weird when I first encountered it. Enjoy.
Welcome to Finland! I'm sure you will love it here. Some pointers:
1. Please observe the fire ban due to a dry and hot summer. The ban is still on in many areas. Your foldable bbq should be okay, as long as it has a solid bottom. Unless of course there is a 'red' (total) fire ban.
2. Careful with the Scandinavia thing! Some Finns will take offence...😊
3. You might want to mention in you video that most kind of fishing requires a permit in Finland.

Hi! I hope you are doing great. I'm happy to see you enjoy Finland! There's a very long tradition with saunas in Finland and it used to be a sacred place and still is a little bit. People used to give birth in saunas and when a person died people used to wash the body there before its final journey. Going to sauna is actually really healthy, it does good for your health and it is a good way to relax. It helps if a person has a high blood pressure and helps to sleep better. For me it's a place where it's easy to meditate or have meaningful conversations with my friends or family. There's no better feeling than being at the summer cottage and after a long day going to a sauna (that is heated with wood) and relax and swim in a lake and listen nature. I think you need to experience finnish sauna! If you go to sauna that is heated with wood, the heat feels nicer compared to a sauna that is heated with electricity. I would invite you to our summer cottage to try but unfortunately I'm not there! I hope you are having a beautiful day! :)

...Norway-Sweden-Denmark=Scandinavia...similar language...Finland and Iceland are in the “Nordic” group..just a little fyi as everyone is so proud of their heritage...even the rowboats have country flags...agreed Finland is awesome...happy for y’all...

I'm sure I'm not the first to say it..And won't be the last... Gingie bear is flipping amazing !!! What an absolute star! I got two gingies, but I can't imagine them travelling so chilled... She is lovely. But, yeah, she did look angry just before you got the ferry... Maybe it was the early alarm call love to all 😻
I used to run a pizza and donair shop. We would just pop the wrap in water give a shake and then plop on a grill give a flip then fill and enjoy! The moisture made the wrap plyable.
Aw, you guys, this was worth the wait, yay! Let the adventures continue.
Fun Stuff Guys! Finland, where you are camping) looks a bit like where I’m from in Ottawa, Canada (In the Gatineau parks). I had a wonderful cat who should hike with us in the summer and follow us when we would snowshoe in the winter. He was a white with patches of ginger. He was a wonderful companion.

It seems the outdoor life is back in fashion in Finland, especially younger generations have found the natural parks and the nature generally again. Finland has a so called 'every man's right', everyone is free to enjoy the nature, even if the land is privately own. Of course you are expected the respect the environment.
I don’t think Finns have ever stopped loving nature. It’s very deeply engrained in our culture.

Bea! Try 1/4 cup almond flour, 1/4 cup tapioca flour and 1/2 cup full fat coconut milk for a gluten free "tortilla". You'll get almost a pancake batter consistency -- they do take a little longer to cook but they're so worth it! Keep on keeping on 🤗

Not from Finland only Saunas are a great way to detox the body and sweat out impurities...keeping the skin and organs happy and healthy. Also excellent for removing spores. Thank you again for the Cat Pack idea and so far so good. I'm starting to believe the cat can actually travel with us. Happy Journeys!

Why there's more saunas than cars in Finland?
Sauna - is a... bath :)
So it's not absolutely crazy - it would be crazy if there were more CARS than saunas!
But I know cars (a van for example) made to a sauna - so you have a towable sauna on wheels. That, is borderline crazy. But in an awesome way.
Finland is were sauna hails from, - it's a luxury thing only abroad. In Finland it's the thousands of years old way to bathe (actually, like native Americans have their steam tent) - showers are a much more newer invention. And now we take them for granted :)

I found it frustrating that when you were talking about the chair, you never really pointed the camera at it properly so that we could get a good look at it. I find that this is a common problem with You Tubers.
