Santa Fe Rear Wiper Repair ~Not Working ~ A Free Fix

Episode 2 This will probably work for any rear wiper motor. Before you go and buy a replacement try this to bring it back to life. Minimum tools required. Try to do it with the motor in place on the window if possible to make it a lot simpler.

Great video. Pulled my motor off assuming the shaft was seized as I've seen on others. It was exactly what you said. Cleaned out the old grease, cleaned contacts, added a little dielectric grease where needed. Back together and working fine. Could definitely be fixed without removing motor. That was the hardest part.

Under absolutely no circumstances will the arm come off. Puller or not

If you watch the video we suggest going from the inside so you don’t have to remove the arm. I used a puller to get it off before I realized it wasn’t necessary. Best of Luck
