When is it time to top scrub or strip a floor. Taking care of VCT flooring is a must if you want to make your floors shine and last for years to come. Knowing the difference between a top scrub and floor stripping is just good knowledge. We stripped some floors that had been 10 years since anyone stripped it.
A few words came out and i was so glad when they got us some stripping shoes. Great video!!

The floors in my Cafeteria would drive everybody here insane the cement underneath is crumbling and they’re not replacing the floors I have holes and bumps every few feet. It doesn’t matter what I do I can make it shiny but I can’t make it nice it’s so frustrating😅

I just chemically stripped a hallway floor last night and it turned out to look amazing. It had been years since anyone had done it. Could only apply 4 layers of wax because of time, but the other 2-3 layers are going down on Monday. It was very slippery. Lol's

I recently used the square scrubber for the first time, I'm sold. I don't ever strip unless I have to, I end up with a sinus infection every time

Vct s the most common floors we deal with. You can strip and top scrub it. Terrazzo designed to be waxed. But in most case it is. So if it is. It can also be top scrubbed and waxed. LVT a good top scrub clean when needed. No wax on LVT. Also ceramic floor can be top scrubbed. Never wax ceramic or use stripper on ceramic or LVT.

What temperature should my water be if I’m chemical stripping a floor? I’ve heard hot water will strip a wax floor.
