I bought two of these within the last few months. I got them for $750 each. They both needed little repair and cleaning. I got them fixed up, and they are awesome! Much better than using a DAW for music production.

I have the same machine but on high volume I’m getting terrible distortion could it also need recapping ?

Exact same deck im looking at across my room. My parents bought it new in the 70s, ive been using it on and off for 20 years.
