Good information. I'll be sure to check the brushes before buy a new starter if I need one. I have a 2000 350ES 2 wheel drive with quite low miles that I bought from my uncle about 12 years ago. He bought it new for his wife and was used very little. Gets used even less now as it's only out a couple times a year.

I agree about checking the brushes. The owner of this unit had already bought the starter.
