Schools in Singapore and Malaysia have separate dining areas for Halal and Non Halal food, as well as make sure that cooking utensils and cutleries for Halal and Non Halal do not get mixed up. Personally I do not see any issues between Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian food being separated. Every school with a religious foundation has got certain rules and regulations regardless of the religion, if we agree to that send the kid to that school if not then send to some other school of choice. No point debating it when the school comes from a certain religious background. For the record I am not Hindu, am an Anglo Indian
